Pros +
- The location is close to the train station but as I had a lot of luggage, I had to take the taxi. The center or town is about 12 min walk which is close enough as I like walking. The breakfast is very good with good ambience and selection. Staff were helpful. Would highly recommend
- Very friendly staff, spacious room, good location
- The bathroom is very clean, Good Breakfast
Cons -
- There is a tea/coffee facility on the mezzanine floor but I would have wanted to have on in my room as I take sleep tea in the evening and have to call in for a mug of hot water.
- Dark room with poor lighting, couldn't really sit and read. Also would have been nice to have a table to place items on like phone, keys, map, glass of water.
- No lift

Comfortable room; good location between train station and historic center; very pleasant and helpful staff.
The breakfast in the morning was amazing and definitely the highlight of the stay! The staff was also very friendly, and the room was spacious, clean, and comfortable.
Understanding that for this trip I searched for quirky, character accommodations, this hotel was that. There may be stairs to your room, the bathroom may be smaller, the furnishings a bit old school. But, you have to be willing to embrace that.
There is no elevator and when we checked in there was no one to take our luggage to our room which was more than one flight of stairs to reach. Unlike our stay in Florence, we didn't receive extensive help with suggestions for restaurants, etc. I would have appreciated shampoo and conditioner included in their toiletry selections.
Staff was lovely, room was immaculate. I would stay there again
Two issues:. need more towels, need to provide access to more water to drink! I drank the bottle provided Iimmediately. I woke up parched and had no ability to get a drink until I went to breakfast
Garden terrace was lovely to eat breakfast. Breakfast was good and had a variety of food to please all diets.
Great, friendly staff. Breakfast was included. Good location close to Arena and other interesting places.
No elevator, it is difficult to carry a suitcase up the stairs, especially with bad knees.
Very central location. Within walking distance of the train station and close to the sights.
Nothing of any note.
Location between railway station & city centre was ideal. Loved the 'boutique' eclectic feel to the property.
I knew I had booked a 'small' room but surprised how tiny the bathroom was. Shower unit (this was room 12) was particularly challenging; it was impossible to move or turn inside the shower unit without hitting temperature appliance.
A nice little hotel behind old wooden gates. Friendly pretty girls at the reception, where you can treat yourself to delicious chocolates. The room is cozy, clean with an exit to the terrace, where it is pleasant to sit with a cup of tea. There is a cozy rest area with soft chairs. Delicious breakfasts.
Good location & breakfast, quirky decor.
Strange toilet integrated into the bedroom with no privacy through a transparent door. Noisy main road & noise moving furniture in the building at 4am.
The hotel is in a beautiful historic building with a lot of character. The breakfast was lovely. The location was good. The staff were friendly and helpful, and we enjoyed our stay.
The single rooms are small, with only one available PowerPoint. There is no kettle or fridge in the room, so you have to walk down a very long corridor to get hot water for tea or coffee.
Good location. High quality room and breakfast. Very good staff.
I love the room although it was a bit small but it was perfect for me.Very clean homely feel with beautiful paintings.Staff were very friendly. A good location, quite close to train station and old town.opposite the hotel there is the bus to Sirmione which was super comfortable
More selection of breads and rolls in breakfast
The location was advantageous - we had a rental car so the location of the hotel made it easy to leave Verona for other trips while still being only a 10 minute walk into town. Relatively quiet too.
We booked a superior twin room but there was absolutely nothing superior about it. Tired furnishings and bedding, little storage space and no more than a 20" TV. This was NOT a boutique hotel in the accepted sense. Breakfast was very limited and some of the same foods came out day after day.
The breakfast was very good and the location was fantastic, the train station and square were easily accessible.
There wasn't anything to dislike. The whole place was spotless and there wasn't anything the staff wouldn't do for you. It is an excellent hotel.
I enjoyed my stay here. Central location, 10-15 minutes' walk to the very center and the train station, too. The staff was very kind and friendly. Decent breakfast. Clean room. There is a very cozy area in the lobby where you can have tea and read. The only inconvenience was that the shower cabin in the single room was too small.
The size. The style. The quirkyness. Felt like your own apartment. Far exceeds 2 star rating
