Pros +
- Really nice room, great location, nice bar downstairs. Charming atmosphere with an old-timey drawing room full of antiques.
- Great location, lovely room and comfortable bed! Breakfast was also very good.
- The room was large with a king size bed. Very clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. Sufficient parking. A pth in back of the hotel leads to the river and Blue Pool Walkway and ferries to Garnish Island.
Cons -
- Breakfast started at 8:30am. Not a huge deal, but we were up at 7 and pretty hungry by 8:30.
- One pub down the street played amplified "cover style" music outside from 5- 12 am. Not ideal if you are hoping for an early start in the AM.
- Small room, very basic

Location of the hotel, comfortable bed, good breakfast, nice staff
Small room, very basic
This is a small, family-run hotel in a quiet town in County Cork. We loved that there was a good restaurant and breakfast provided on the premises, because there aren't a lot of other choices in the town.
Casey’s has been a little jewel in the southwest corner of Ireland. Comfortable room and bed, excellent Irish breakfast, and dinner in the pub was outstanding.., local food such as lamb and seafood and served hot hot hot! Staff also very attentive and informative. It is a well run, friendly local hotel/pub/restaurant and good value.
Location, staff
I stay in a lot of high end properties around the world. This is not that. Being right in town means street noise.
Excellent location in the heart of Glengarriff. Enjoyed some live music as recommended by one of the staff at a pub just across the street. Great late night pizza just across the street from the hotel.
Located centrally in Glengarriff. Great dinner and breakfast. Helpful staff.
Casey's has an excellent restaurant, which is proven by seeing so many locals celebrating there!
There were not many other choices for eating, and I think for the price that breakfast should have been included.
Casey’s hotel was superb in every way bedrooms were very comfortable loads of space around the room for both of us bathroom was very clean shower was fantastic great power in water
Nothing I didn’t like
Staff and location. Eat blue lagoon for garnish island
Room cluttered. No need for two tables and two chairs in a very small room and bathroom tight Funny enough door very difficult to open very heavy and with a back injury requested bath but none available at time checking in
We were delayed due to the plane should have checked in at 10:30 Casey’s phoned and we explained and they had some waiting for us upon arrival at 12:30.We had a standard room but everything we needed the bed was massive. Staff are really nice nothing was too much trouble and the cleaner’s came in the room every day location is great your right in the heart of Glengarriff . We ate in the restaurant the food was great I would definitely stay there again A*
Food good, convenient location, free parking.
Small room and bathroom. Only one comfortable chair.
We loved the fact that it was family owned for a few hundred years and all the staff was friendly and also proud of the history!
The only thing I didn’t like was that we only had one night to spend here! I highly recommend this hotel!
welcoming spacious room with lovely furniture.
more expensive than other places we stayed in Southern Ireland
Had a lovely stay, was revisiting after 15 years and celebrating or wedding anniversary. We booked a meal in the restaurant and were a little disappointed with the food and service. Although the breakfast in the morning was 10/10
Evening meal was disappointing
The rooms were clean and modern, the team were very friendly and inviting.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Casey's and would stay here again. The location at the center of the Village is ideal, the staff is capable and friendly, and the quality of the restaurant was exceptional.
The only downside was that the bar and restaurant weren't open on Tuesdays, because Casey's is far and away the best dining option in the Village. But the owner explained the problem with staffing he was having which made the need to close on Tuesdays understandable. And we were messaged about the closure prior to our arrival, so it wasn't a surprise.
Clean, comfortable hotel in a great location. Friendly and effecient staff and good food
