How friendly and helpful the staff were.

Staff were friendly and accommodating. Beds were comfy. Location is amazing. Parking was found easily outside the hotel on the square. Breakfast was simple and tasty.

Stayed in a family room but still a bit of a squeeze. Thankfully had someone with me to help lift the pram up the stairs to our room. A little pricey but maybe it was because it was just after Christmas.

The Emmet hotel exceeded every expectation we had. The location - right in town, room - much larger than we expected and in addition to being comfortable and cozy, it was also very stylish with lovely colors in the artwork and bed throws. The breakfast was incredible too. Staff went above and beyond for us. Staying here was one of the highlights of our trip!

Our only complaint was that we couldn't stay longer! We'll definitely be back!

From the moment, we walked in the door, we felt welcome and at home. This boutique hotel with its eclectic decor is a perfect choice! The rooms are bright and stylish, and the beds are very comfortable! The breakfasts are delicious! Their restaurant features locally sourced fruits, produce, and meats, and we ate dinner there several times and were impressed with the variety in the menu and scrumptious foods! The owners, Rob and Rebecca are a great team and work in tandem to provide top-notch service! Sam at the front desk took charge when we had to cancel a reservation at an historical site. Robin, with her bright smile, greeted us every morning at breakfast. Sinead kept our room spotless and comfortable! Jack also did a great job at the restaurant! Everyone we encountered loved his/her job, now that’s a top- notch hotel!

The room had a Nespresso machine, room clean quiet comfortable, Great nights sleep. Super central. Balcony fantastic. Staff so nice

Clean, comfortable and central location in Clonakilty town

Our family room had a tiny window which made it very humid at nighttime despite having the Dyson fan. It would be nice if the bar had a more homely feel as the library does, it seemed like more of a cafe.

Great location. Good parking on the square.

There was a large private party that took over the hotel and the dining room and outside. It was loud.

The cosy comfortable decor and ambiance of the hotel was lovely.Very good central location.Food and service was very good.Room was clean with basic essentials.Unfortunately we had a room at back with a view of bins and refuse as our view!!

Absolutely fantastic staff. We were attending a wedding and the checkin was so quick and efficient.

I wouldn’t bother with the breakfast.

The hotel is in a great location in Clonakilty with free parking on the square outside. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The decor is really nice and the rooms are very clean and comfortable. It had everything that I needed for my one night stay. I would definitely stay there again. The gift of a Clonakilty candle was a lovely touch when I was checking out.

Rooms are lovely and clean and in a good location to everything

We are coming to this hotel 5 years we paid an extra 30 for the breakfast and it was very basic, maybe the chef called in sick , not to the hotels fault but there was a massive disappointment to be honest

The location is good, the staff were friendly, and the Irish breakfast was delicious.

Our room had a double and a single bed. We found the double mattress was far too soft and the single too hard, but I accept that’s my personal preference. There was an issue with drunken guests banging about beyond midnight but that could happen anywhere and that is out of the hotel’s control, and the staff were very apologetic, though it obviously wasn't their fault. If the beds were better (or a soft mattress is your thing), I'd stay there again.
