It was modern, staff was friendly, within walking distance if town

The Location

Everything, the room was not clean, there were cobwebs on the ceiling, stains on the chairs and furniture, the bathroom tiles were chipped and the springs in the bed were worn out. Tried to use the gym but it was so neglected with most of the exercise machines were broken and the place was filthy.

It was clean and staff were friendly.

We were in room 228 and it was very hot with no air con. We were also above the function suite and a function was on that didn’t finish until about 1.45am and it was really noisy.

Location, staff was amazing and very helpful, the room was clean and very comfortable.

No ice machine and no baggage rack.

The hotel atmosphere and settings were good.

The 40 minutes wait for dinner was not ideal.The hot breakfast went cool/cold within 5 mins of starting eating it.

Good menu selection and a tasty breakfast. Bath plus a shower in the room. Good sized flat screen tv with Netflix. Quiet rooms. Nice leisure facilities.

Room needed a refresh.. Carpet and skirtings were worn.Leisure centre changing room lockers needed refreshing.

Executive Family room dirty, dusty, neglected, surfaces scratched, carpet dirty. Bare furnishings, no lamps, lights went during the night so bathroom was dark for kids. Tv didn’t work. Bathroom unmaintained, one tiny bar of soap. Extremely poor value for money for a break away with the kids. Felt a bit like emergency accommodation rather than a hotel break away. Do not recommend.

Enjoyed one night B & B in Charleville Park

The buffet breakfast did not run ,the selection of cereals could be better,the lockers at the pool are missing keys ...the rooms were good and spacious and comfortable, it suited for my one night...the pool is nice but needs a little tlc in dressing rooms and the food in the bar was lovely.

Staff were so friendly- couldn’t rate highly enough

Noise- unfortunately woken up at 2am by 2 loud drunken men staying across the corridor. Woken again at 2.45 when they ordered room service. Poor soundproofing.

The entire trip was amazing. From the immensely pleasant and friendly, not to mention extremely accommodating Garrett at the reception desk to the wonderful Abbey who served us at dinner. We travelled as part of a party of 15 for a family celebration and the staff could not do enough for us especially with our husky puppy. The food was fabulous as were the facilities. We’ll definitely be back again!

Good location, useful as a stop over for commuters.Large room, quiet and comfortable. Staff were relaxed and pleasant .

The food from the bar was of a poor quality

The staff at reception (red head lady) was out of this world she was so lovely and we got a upgraded to a suite room wich was fabulous

Walking down on the rain to go to Leisure centre..it should have at least a tunel to cross one building to the other.. specially with a baby..after a warm pool..My room was very cold..
