Staff welcoming and very helpful-Accomodation was excellent for us and our dog-Superb breakfast

Only thing which would have improved the room for my wife would be mirror in bedroom by power socket with shelf under to make drying hair easier

We have no complaints at all

Myself and my partner came for our anniversary ( she's now my Fiancé after I proposed by the cove stones in Avebury stone circle!) Our stay at Elderbrook House was wonderful, from the greeting by Ben and Maia the doggo, to our departure with a send off by Cody and Ben's Daughter! The room was clean and quiet, Ben and Cody were friendly and attentive and the breakfast was amazing! We shall definitely be coming back!

Everything was perfect!!!!

The room itself was lovely, very comfortable and spacious, the bed was really comfortable and all the linen was lovely and fresh and new. Lovely bathroom. Breakfast was superb.

We arrived and parked around the back and there was a lot of things dumped on the land which didn’t bode well for a nice welcome and we didn’t expect much, there was dog mess all along the path to the main entrance and the entrance smelt of dog, we had to wait for someone to come after ringing bell and calling out and was act just about to leave but a lady came. The milk in the fridge was off and curdled the tea. It was put in an old orange juice bottle so don’t think it washed out properly. The carpets in the room were bit grotty but otherwise a really lovely room. We had to pay extra to bring out little dog which is acceptable but had to endure another dogs poo ourselves. We cleaned up our dogs mess from the field outside.

It was in a very nice and quiet rural location with pleasant views of the countryside, with good modern feeling accommodation.

Unfortunately the pub and restaurant facilities weren’t available to be open on quieter days, which we can fully understand under the current cost of living issues experienced by this sector.

Loved everything about it. The house is amazing, the location very convenient for us. The staff were lovely and the dog!! I’m writing this so late, I forgot her name but she was the sweetest baby! The breakfast was particularly lovely, you can tell they really care about their service. They were very welcoming and, on our way out, the lady that made our breakfast (so sorry, I forgot her name!) prepared a goody bags for us with water bottles, juices, and fruits. So very thoughtful since we were driving for a while. A 10/10 stay, would definitely stay again and recommend them to everyone!

Fabulous stay. Great host, welcoming and environment is child friendly. She made us feel very welcome. Room was great size and bathroom was massive. Excellent bath and shower with good quality towels. Lovely view. Food was really good all meat was fresh local produce. Would return again if visiting area. Close by to Avebury stones. Exceeded my expectations. Big thank you :)

the Breakfast was the best we ever had ! a large selection of continental with the choice of many cooked breakfast's. we experienced yogurt , a selection of fresh fruit , home cooked portage, fresh juices , warmed croissant, toast and finally a wonderful cooked breakfast.

Perfect location for visiting Avebury and Marlborough. Very comfortable and spacious bedroom. Highly recommended.

Very nice and welcoming host, and very good breakfast. Hardwood floors in the room and large window-doors towards the garden with a nice view.

In the hallway right outside the room there was a lot of clutter, serious need of a proper tidying up. The pipes in the bathroom were almost clogged. You could clearly hear noise both from the floor above and from the hallway.

Perfect quiet location, excellent large bed, superb breakfast and lovely friendly host. Absolutely outstanding.

Bit of a late check in at 4pm but more than made up for with the rest of our stay.

We loved the comfort of the rooms, peaceful environment and an astounding breakfast cooked to perfection. Cody, Ben and Matilda are the best hosts. Incredibly attentive, welcoming, full of helpful advice and such a wonderful family. They made our stay more enjoyable than anywhere I’ve ever been. Wishing you the most enjoyable holiday next month. You absolutely deserve it :)

There’s nothing not to like

Breakfast was excellent, chose the night before and selection offered was more than we had expected. Made a great start to the day.Hosts Cody & Ben were very friendly and welcoming.When we left we were given a bag with 2 bottles of water, an apple, banana and 2 chocolate bars, very thoughtful

Minor comment that Pratchett could do with an extra bed side light. Only stayed one night so was not a big issue.

My partner and I couldn't fault anything apart from see below... Very attentive thru out our 1 night stay, even gained some history on the House. The breakfast was fabulous and filled us both up until 6pm.If I was to pick on the 2 best bits I would say....On our arrival back from a meal at The Red Lion, and as it was dark when parking the car, we were met by the owner with a torch...so we could see where we were going and the other highlight was upon leaving this morning, we were given a little brown bag, containing 2 bottles water, 2 apples and 2 little choccie bars for our day ahead...what a wonderful little parting gift.Will definitely be back....

Only thing you need in Pratchett is another bedside lamp and 2 non slip mats for the shower and bath.

We really enjoyed our stay here It is a family run business and you are made to feel very welcome.Our room was bigger than it looked online.The bed was very comfortable and we both slept well. The food was locally sourced where possible. Breakfast is chosen the day before and was good, tasty and there was plenty of it. We would stay here regularly if it wasn't over two hundred miles away! We also enjoyed our meal in the pub!
