- Room was very comfortable. Pub/bar area was cozy and lovely for a pint in the evening. Dinner was reasonably priced and delicious as well. All staff we encountered were very friendly.
- Comfortable quiet and clean! The food was good! The staff were friendly and helpful! Spacious room with everything you wanted wifi etc
Cons -
- Towels from previous guests still in bathroom. Excusable since hung on back of door but shouldnt really have been missed if bathroom cleaned thoroughly.
- Nothing negative
- There was a mix up in accommodation and we did not get the room arrangement we wanted. Also the check in was listed as 5.00 and arriving at this time we were the last to check in ! Would have likes better communication with the host

We had the most wonderful experience staying at the Neeld Arms! The proprietors are charming, helpful and accommodating! Their advice and guidance made our Cotswolds adventure exceptional. The food is absolutely delicious. Highly recommend!
Small room, but had everything we needed, tea making facilities, more milk and water in fridge just outside the room, lamps by the bedside, tv. Very nice decor, nice bathroom and lovely soft towels.
Can’t think of anything ?
The room and excellent food
Not having breakfast during the week. Day staff not helping when I had an urgent call to make. Had to leave my good half eaten.
Great accommodation above a lovely pub, the hosts were so nice recommending where to go for someone within our group who has tricky dietary requirements and the breakfast in the morning is definitely worth going for!
We were very impressed with the Neeld Arms and the staff. The room was absolutely wonderful with lots of character and period charm but with all the mod cons. We had dinner there too and the food was fabulous. The staff were attentive and keen to please and making sure we had everything we needed. We would definitely stay again if we were in the area.
A small niggle but not a deal breaker but they didn’t offer breakfast midweek.
Gorgeous property, well secluded. A beautiful pub, beautiful rooms. Members of staff couldn’t do enough to help us with our last-minute stay and were kind enough to show us around even though it was late.
Rooms and bathroom was well appointed and spacious.Evening neal offerring was varied and largely good value for money.
Breakfast not starting until 9 or 9.30am was not what I expected after having stayed here whilst managed by the previous landlord. Only two ales to choose from too.
parking was plentiful . Staff were friendly and helpful and the evening meal was good.
It was quite a distance from car to door and as we are fairly elderly and my husband is disabled this was difficult. The stairs up to our room were steep and twisting. The room needed some TLC and the was under furnished I.e very little storage. There was a coffee machine but the mugs would not fit into it. The bathroom again needed upgrading ,the basin was chipped and the plug hole rusty. The light on one side of the bed did not work . The pillows were very uncomfortable. If one needed to get something from the car after the pub closed you had to use the fire escape. There was no Wi-Fi at least non was offered. We were expecting a normal hotel breakfast but all that was available was a “bag” breakfast which from the description consisted of a cereal bar and a cold sausage bap, not what one needs before a busy day. It also had to eaten in one’s room. We felt that the cost of the stay was quite over the top and certainly would not stay again. The best thing of the whole stay was help given to us in the morning by the cleaner and the waitress in the evening.
Very nice old pub. Rooms very clean and comfy. Food very good and very helpful staff
Car park at the back a bit tight but not a problem
A lovely historic building full of charm. We were met with warmth from the staff when we arrived and were quickly shown to our room. Our room (1) was large, very clean and the en-suite bathroom well supplied with products. The shower was brilliant. The large bed was very comfortable and we had a great nights sleep. The breakfast, although not included in the room price, was excellent. Freshly cooked and very tasty.
Maybe the parking at the back during opening hours.
A very warm welcome upon arrival and large room with a comfy bed. Breakfast was exceptional.
Everything was lovely! The property is adorable, clean, cozy, comfy and the food and drinks were absolutely delicious!! The pub below is wonderful and yet the rooms were quiet above it. We will absolutely stay again!
My favorite stay when visiting the Cotswolds. I stayed there in 2022 and the place looks even better under the new management. The room is clean and comfortable, staff was very friendly and accommodated my wife's food restrictions for breakfast.
no complaints.
All of it. Just as good as when we stayed two nights ago! We visit often. The food is great, the staff are lovely. Can’t fault it. Thank you.
Absolutely nothing!! ?
We love it here. So much so that we’re back tomorrow! Never lets us down. Lovely room, good food and great staff. And in a nice village. What more could you ask for?! We’ve been coming for years. Thank you.
Excellent food, gorgeous room/interiors, such a cosy vibe, gorgeous village location.
The bed wasn’t the comfiest but otherwise everything was perfect
The hosts were so friendly and attentive and the pub and rooms are beautiful. Very pretty and quiet village - the perfect getaway
