Pros +
- Did the job but nothing outstanding. Very much a local pub rather than a hotel.
- Large room and bathroom. Clean and comfortable.
- Ease to get food downstairs after a long day travelling
Cons -
- Would have liked to be able to order a simple sandwich or tea and scone as I am on a very restricted diet due to recent surgery.
- Nothing much.
- Music didn’t stop until 1:30 am considering the pub closed at 11pm. Yelling into the night Staff were really rude and unprofessional. Room was run down and bath was rooting away, the floor had a massive unknown stain on it

I didn't expect the towels to be changed daily. The room was very clean & "spider" free :)Food was very good in the restaurant both nights :)
A spare loo roll would've been nice without asking for one
Location, staff, cleanliness, quality of food, plenty of space in pub area for gathering, comfortable atmosphere.
One of our beds was a bit lumpy.
Room was comfortable and warm. Yes, it could have been modernised but that all costs money when pubs are already struggling. Their selection of beverage accoutrements and biscuits in the room were excellent.
Nothing really. We had concerns that we might not get to sleep when the live music was on downstairs but the staff are in complete control and moderated the timing and all was good.
Lovely rooms, nice temperature, bar music finished on time and lovely bar.
Welcoming and friendly staff. Comfortable and cozy room at a reasonable price.
Nice little gem in Swindon, start off with the room, the room was lovely and cosy and bath was nice and long and deep, we also tried food on our stay and food was exceptional nice and if we lived nearer we would be popping there more often for food, would we stay again? Yes
I'm just being really picky now as hard to pick fault rather than little light you on ceiling you can turn on, would've rather a bedside lamp.
Love bath nice bed best sleep long time nice staff nice place to b.some ware I could chill after such a bad couple years.nothing was to much staff very happy to help
Not a lot to complain about few stains on wall in room need to clean them .but as I said I would stay again
We all enjoyed a tasty meal of pork , delicious vegetables & gravy - simply the best ! STAFF - all went above they line of duty to make our stay exceptional! All was greatly appreciated . Beryl , Sandra & Jan
Live music went on past midnight, and then the guest next door had TV on very loud at 5:30 am
Bathroom wasn't particularly safe , as nothing to grab to get out shower. Noisy and not particularly clean very uncomfortable Bed
Convenient for cycle route 45 and the staff let us store the cycles in a secure compound
They didn’t serve breyuntil 0930 which is too low hen on cycling trip
Superb
Room was very hot fan didn't help much but can't help the British weather but everything else was spot on
Stayed here a couple of times, nice friendly pub, staff are pleasant, would stay again?
Staff were welcoming
Cleanliness of room was not good.Cobwebs in the windows and months of dust and debri on the head boards.Bathroom had paint peeling and the toilet had yellow urine stains on the back with hairs
Friendly staff, good food and reasonably priced, big garden to cater for all ages.
Property is clean and well located with a private paring for the guests and very nice pub
