The Highworth Hotel

Very nice room - spacious, clean and comfortable. Staff were particularly friendly and helpful. The dinner was excellent - there was a good selection for vegetarians (us) - some more unusual dishes - very reasonably priced. Good cooked breakfast.

We found the pillows rather hard.

Our room was for 3 adults and the dog, Lovely big room, with lots of space, clean, tidy and comfortable, would definatly stay here again.We had dinner in the Orangery with out dog in the evening, the food was amazing and the staff were lovely proffesional and attentive.Break in the morning was just as good.

There was nothing I didn't like.

We had a dinner at the hotel. The food was delicious and many kinds of variety. My daughter (12 years old) choosed a kids menu with Katsu Chicken, which was really great.Family room was spacious enough to stay with three people + one dog.

As we stayed during Easter holidays, the hotel has music party night. So it was a bit noisy until 10pm. We were informed that a party was to be held. However, the room we stayed was close to the party place, so it was a bit noisy.

Clean well located. Great staff very attentive and friendly. Good size room.

Breakfast quality was great but only one piece of bacon! and mushrooms were soaked in something sour. I would make a special order if I stayed again.Dinner was really good as was the service throughout the stay.

Breakfast was short on quantity but not quality.Shower in bedroom could do with updating and a shower cap would have been nice.

We had a pleasant room with a good sized bathroom and desk for work. The dinner was very good with choice for vegetarians which is unusual. Very tasty food. It took a long time to arrive but the waitress was very kind and wanted to remove the added gratuity but we paid it because she was so nice.

Breakfast started at 8 am which was too late for me as I had to be at place of work by 8 am. The promised continental breakfast wasn’t ready until 7.45 am which was still very late.Shame about the narrow entrance to the car park.

I liked everything the staff were really friendly and welcoming, the room was amazing, clean and comfortable and the food was the best I've ever tasted and I use to be a chef so I know good food

The staff were so helpful. They even made a room available for us in the evening as we had 3 children with us and there was a party in the main part of the hotel. Everyone was so friendly. The breakfast was great.

Beautiful place, friendly staff to instantly put you at ease. Clean and bright.

The only thing that was a problem was the shower. Wasn’t very powerful at all.

The location of the hotel is excellent, breakfast and dinner were lovely.

Couldn't access the car park as our car (Land Rover Discovery) couldn't fit through the arch. Staff did apologise but as the hotel is listed they can't change this so it was inconvenient, luckily we found a spot to park nearby on the road, not ideal.

Cooked breakfast was very nice.

The room was really spacious and warm.Bed very comfortable. Breakfast was great !!!

I liked the decor of the hotel room.

Mold spots on shower curtain. Peeling wallpaper. No heating, spent the night freezing cold. Spoke to lady on the phone who told me the heating would come on at 4 in morning but it didn't. She also said that she cld come over to help but it was late and dark outside take her a 15 mins walk. Which made me feel bad so I obviously said no dnt do that. Was told there was extra blanket in cupboard if I needed it, even with that was still cold. Had a horrible night shivering to the point actually felt ill. Breakfast was ok but didn't like the sausage, tasted dry. No one told me had to make my own toast or where the toaster was to make toast so I dident know. No orange juice left had to ask. Considering the price of the hotel room I woulda thought I'd got better then this. I have had better then this in a standard premier inn room at a lower price then I paid to stay here. Definitely wouldNot be going back or recommending it.

Perfect location, excellent buffet and breakfast, staff are amazing particularly Megan who is very friendly and professional, a great asset to the team.

Friendly staff, room was comfortable, breakfast was very enjoyable.
