    Pros +

    • I liked the location and the quality of the hotel and the twon beds were excellent and very clean.
    • Room was fine, spacious and good breakfast available
    • Location is just perfect and it’s easy to access

    Cons -

    • Yes i.did not like the bath tub as its not easy to get in for senior person. Very old fashioned for newest hotel
    • Lack of parking.
    • I didn’t get the correct room with facilities I booked for. That’s like daylight robbery given the difference in prices. Let alone the creaking bed everytime you turned just disrupted my sleep.

The hotel was lovely! Comfortable and decorated beautifully. It was clean and the staff were welcoming.

I got 3 hours of sleep at the most as did my son due to noise from guests above us. I called down and explained but the noise continued! Unfortunately this has impacted on our day today as my son has been so tired. I videoed the noise!

The staff team were on the whole very friendly and helpful. Plenty of parking however parking is chargable.

The bed in room 333 was creaky and very noisey, made it almost impossible to sleep on, and way below the standard expected at a Doubletree By Hilton. I was given an alternative room (102) which is an accesible room on the ground floor. Unfortunately these room are right next to reception so the door leading from reception to these rooms is in constant use. Guest noise went on to 12pm and morning staff started bring trollies through around 5am in the morning. So I had very little sleep. Room 333 has a strange external light shine on the window from the car park which was quite unpleasent. I was offer a three course meal deal at the front desk to find the kitchen was short staffed and they were only offer a limited bar menu.

Beautiful room, warm, well decorated, comfortable bed, great shower…. A couple of biscuits in the room would have been the icing on the cake, but I’m not going to mark the hotel down for this…. Excellent 10/10

If the room had had a biscuit and fresh milk I would have been blown away….. but it didn’t sadly!

    Close to coffee shops

Extremely disappointed & recommend not to book this hotel because it’s not a Hilton at all.It is not a 4 star hotel it should be only 2 stars As It’s below Days inn . The rooms are dull, bed uncomfortably, floorboard noise when you walk around. The pillows need to be replaced as they are not comfortable and are flat .No water bottles provided in the room.Booked for 2 nights wanted to cancel the 2nd night after visiting the property. Staff didn’t know what to do and said contact booking.com and vice versa.

The location was great just off the motorway...Nothing else to comment!

Car park very dark...Staff not very accommodating! Restaurant didn't make tables available to dine at despite only having several tables occupied...Attitude of some of the reception staff was well below standard! This place is fine if you just want to put your head down. If you want service, look elsewhere!

The Shower in room was excellent. Brekfast was good but would have liked an omellette in morning like offered in other Hilton Hotels

The bed in my room was the most uncomfortable that I hacce ever slept on it needs replacing and when reported was put simply dismissed

    bar and dining service

room 101 located in first door next to the entrance to the rooms area - I have heard for about 30x when smb went through this doors. horrible experience, bath room - I took a bath but: I was unable to drain the waste water, the water drain was completely non-functional - it took 3 hours to remove water from bath, water was leaking somewhere, the entire bathroom was flooded

Welcome cookie on arrivalCheck in staff friendlyFood was good

Bed really uncomfortable and noisy every time you roll over. Knock on the door in the morning from housekeeping to ask if I am checking out, when they should know who is checking in and out and on what days and times.

    7EmPosted on: 1-12-2026

The room was spacious and was very clean. There was plenty of wardrobe space and I was delighted that it had both a fridge and a bath in the bathroom, which was a huge plus for me! The hotel is also very conveniently located and there is a Beefeater just across the road should one not wish to avail oneself of the hotel's dining offerings.

No proper coffee; no fresh milk in the room and the bed was too hard for me (prefer soft beds).

    8JanicePosted on: 1-7-2026

The reception and bar staff at the hotel were all welcoming and helpful. A request for extra pillows for the room was answered promptly. I particularly like the courtesy sms message from the hotel team checking that everything was as we expected.

It wasn't flagged on booking or by text message that the restaurant would not be opened on the evening of our arrival. This meant that only the bar menu was available which, whilst ok, was limited.

Location .Nice entrance foyer .Room size

Unfortunately the heating did not work in room…exceptionally noisy.

Nice clean and comfy hotel on a budget

    2DavidPosted on: 1-1-2026

The location is the only good thing about this hotel

Charge for parking my car, price of a Luke warm breakfast (cancelled the 2nd morning), mattress that was VERY used, pillows as thin as a piece of cardboard, restaurant that wasn’t open, air conditioning that wasn’t working in the morning hence everyone wearing a coat for the lukewarm breakfast!

    7KerriPosted on: 12-29-2025

Straight off the motorway, staff efficient and friendly

    Bed and pillows were uncomfortable.
