    Pros +

    • The outside space. The variety of spaces to sit and chat. The situation in the countryside
    • Spa facilities were very good
    • The hotel was well presented and the reception staff were nice. The room was very nice and the pool was lovely

    Cons -

    • No, it was good, only slightly difficult that there was a buffet dinner the night we were there and this reduced options as a vegetarian.
    • The bar staff service was awful, not attentive slow and every time I went to the bar he served the men first and kept disappearing. we would have had more drinks but got fed up waiting. The running machines were not great at syncing and many didn't work. the sauna was not very warm. The cooked breakfast was very average and my main surprise was the £5.00 each to use the leisure activities which is not advertised and was going to use the again in morning but then was told would have to pay again
    • I’m being picky here, but the bedroom carpet needed cleaning. It was grubby. I wasn’t offered any details about the restaurant or breakfast.

The one lady that worked at the restaurant

The fact I turned out my room was absolutely disgustingly dirty and then when speaking to MANAGEMENT they turned round and said it was us even though we hadn’t even took our coats off and not been in the premises two minutes

The rooms are clean and Comfortable and the furnishings in room and around the hotel are very nice .Tea and coffee and hairdryer.

We paid for an event which was disappointing and overpriced, the room was cold and only 2 choices of food.It was advertised as dinner and dance, it only lasted 2hrs ..The singer was good but not a dance venue we was all left sitting there wondering what to do next .

The location was lovely and the entrance was well decorated. It was welcoming but no staff at the desk when we arrived. The pool was nice and our bed was comfy.

Most of the facilities were ok but the sauna wasn’t working properly, someone came to fix it but it still wasn’t working even after half an hour to let it heat up. We stayed for an event of dinner and dance which we paid for at the property. On the poster advertised it stated that you pay for dinner and a room and you get breakfast the next day. We had already booked our room through booking.com and were not told we needed to book through them directly but they were happy to take our money for the dinner and dance which was a let down. The starter of soup was lovely but the main of duck wasn’t cooked and was really chewy. Only given two options of salmon or soup, duck or sea bass, cheesecake or torte. The entertainment wasn’t exactly enjoyable and certainly didn’t get anyone dancing. We were screeched at by a woman and her keyboard. Next morning we expected to go for breakfast but to be told as we booked through booking.com we weren’t entitled to breakfast. We had paid for the event and a room so why was our breakfast not given to us, because they wanted us to pay more money when we had already paid more than what others did!! We will not be staying there again.

The main restaurant waiter was helpful and friendly and went above and beyond to ensure my dietary requirements were treated with the utmost care.

Reception staff were not very helpful and a request to have something simple like an ice bucket and glasses in the room was not fulfilled. The bar man was miserable and grumpy.

    Overall extremely disappointing and will...

The staff were very abrupt and at times rude, we went for a drink in the bar at roughly 20:30 only to be told that the bar will be closing after 1 drink. We were unsure of where to go for breakfast so proceeded to reception to ask, after asking we were told that breakfast will likely be closed at 09:00 despite the website stating 10:00. There was a very limited selection of food at the bar, which forced us to find food off site.

Comfortable beds, good bathtub/ shower, swimming pool, and sauna

    Great bar and spa

The bed were a bit too hard and more pillows would have been better

    Clean, functional good breakfast

sadly one pillow, per person and the pool was closed, asked reception about this the day before - very excited children ready to swim.

Lovely hotel set on lovely grounds

An older lady serving in the dining room in the evening was very rude. My daughter ordered the sticky toffee pudding which on the menu said with ice-cream. It arrived with nothing so I politely asked for the ice cream only to be told no it doesn’t come with ice cream. I said No I definitely remember it having ice cream with it. She was very dismissive and rude. As we left I asked the young girl serving if I could look at the menu - Low and behold icecream with the sticky toffee pudding xx I did point this out to the girl and asked her to mention it to the lady.

Lovely venue, clean, accessible and friendly helpful staff. Really good value for money, lovely grounds and peaceful. Had a lovely stay and would return again.

Restaurant had no atmosphere, there was hardly anyone there but there wasnt even background music or anything, just the snooker on the TV playing in silent. The food was quite poor, our burger were extremely dry, almost like they were leftovers.

Fantastic staff in particular Mohi on reception, nothing too much trouble! Good gym with free parking, excellent breakfast. Lovely room with large 32” tele, bed was great too!

    Paying for gym.

Place is lovely, was hoping swimming pool would stay open later which would be my only criticism. Maybe a bit of back ground music in the club house as well

    Location

Rude staff, broken bed, no room service, the breakfast was served like it was a military camp

Nicely situated. Receptionist attempted to apologise for the appalling way we were treated.

Everything pretty much. This hotel is not pet friendly even though it says it is. Dogs are not allowed in the bar or restaurant and there was no mention anywhere on booking or arrival that this was so. The restaurant was closed when we arrived, without any Pryor warning, and we had to leave the hotel to go and get food. This was New Year’s Eve and everywhere was booked up. We ended up back in our room with a Chinese take out. On arrival back to the hotel we were told they couldn’t provide even cutlery or a plate! The staff were rude and unfriendly, it’s a really bad feeling of bad management there. They even refused any compensation or a refund for ruining our New Years Eve break away. We were all dressed up, sat in our rooms. Disgusting way to be treated!! ***** AVOID AT ALL COSTS********** NOT RECOMMENDED*****
