Cons -
- Poor service, unclean room, towels not changed in 10 night stay.
- The bedding was stained. I could feel a hole in my mattress. The bathroom was dirty, while I understand that cleaning isn't on a daily but a shared washroom can be cleaned daily. It usually ran out of toilet paper. The walls are thin, you can hear the next door's phone calls.
- It was dirty and very small . The window sills had mould as well. The taps were also dirty. The manager was rude

The location
Cold shower that was a dribble and no heating!Dust all over and the price does not reflect the quality just greed.
It was very close to the spires Dunedin hospital, it was quite cheap. The sheets and towels where clean..
The walls where paper thin it was cold the heating and drainage was really noisy. I could hear everything going on around me there where clearly people smoking in the rooms (although with hindsight it didn't say it was a nonsmoking establishment) really steep stairs with fire doors right at the top (which was reassuring but quite tricky to navigate. Everything looked pretty worn out and a bit rundown. Which was a shame as the owners seemed to be trying quite hard, but when prices are this low what do you really expect.
The Reception staff were awesome, specifically the night guy.
Other tenants were very noisy, which isn't the Hotel's fault.
Very centrally located, clean and quiet. I booked a single room with shared bathroom and on arrival was upgraded to a twin room with ensuite making it even better value for money. Bed was comfortable and the shower was decent.
On the second night I was kept awake by one of the other residents being arrested at 2am, although I can hardly blame that on the hotel itself. It's pretty dingy, but for £35 a night I wasn't expecting The Dorchester.
Nitemare
The walls were all marked, there was mold around the window, the bathroom sink tap was wobbly, the room stunk, wouldn't stay there again
Was quite cheap
Fire doors on top of stairs, opening out. Surely against the law
the staff were nice and the location was easy to get to.
the tv remote stopped working. it was acknowledging that i was pressing the button but not responding.
Not much - staff were friendly and helpful
Very run down- whole place needs work doing
The property is a joke, they need to close that mess. Smiles funny and dirty.
The smell of the place, the hotel is very dirty, room is not clean
Don't go here
Worse place I've ever stayed dirty cold damp smelly dump
It was cheap and cheerful. Was simple to get in and get my room sorted. Shower was decent. Had kettle and tea/coffee in the room.
I’m 6”3 and struggled to move in the room. People was constantly slamming doors and people banging on the front door. Might have just been an unlucky stay for me. But if this is a regular occurrence maybe a member of staff should stay over night to keep some sort of order. I had no sleep as kept getting woken up non stop all night.

Decent place. Friendly staff.Good value for the area.Would stay again.
Residents were a little loud 1of the nights. Hot water takes a few minutes to get through.
Good location
My room had massive water damage all over the ceiling and coming down the walls along with mould, the smell was horrendous. The wall paper was patched with Christmas wrapping paper as was a punch hole in the bathroom door!
Table n chair to work. Hot shower.
Fixtures and window covered in dust and dirt.
