The location, the room size, view, fittings.The restaurant, particularly the friendly helpful staff.

The noise of disco beat music until 2.30 am. The lack of anyone to contact during the night.The somewhat offhand attitude of the reception staff at check-in and check-out.

Scenery. Coppa. Staff.

Excellent room (we were upgraded). Amazing bed. Great linen, etc.All staff were incredibly helpful. Everything we needed in room.

Wine was quite expensive.

Cold room Tiles on the floor in the bathroom disintegrating so very uncomfortable to walk on

Perfect location, have stayed once before and always said we’d go back. Our dog enjoyed his stay too and the doggie pack on arrival

Not enough tea/coffee/milk in room

Very nice location right on the river with the lovely sound (when the doors were open) of the running water.

There was a constant mechanical noise which was disturbing to sleep. There was no standard hotel breakfast offering. So breakfast would be very expensive. The shower water was barely warm during the stay this may have been due to the cold weather.

The Swan is my husband’s and my favourite escape from London. It’s just a short train ride from the city, yet feels like a real city escape. It is set in a beautiful riverside location, it has peaceful surroundings, lovely rooms, and a real sense of calm. The staff are exceptional, and the restaurant is consistently excellent.

Beautiful location; lovely river views from our room and the restaurant; cosy bar options; great service. Very comfortable throughout. Lovely food.

Food was amazing and view over the Themes watching the snow fall was like a picture postcard.

I'm picking but Guiness was o.k but could be better

Our second time staying in this beautiful hotel. Stunning location, interiors and excellent on-site dining.

Unfortunately we found the bed uncomfortable this time which is a huge shame. The mattress was quite hard, the duvet was undersized and not wide enough and the pillows were poorly filled. Our family members staying in other rooms also agreed.

Everything was brilliant we were only on a short stay sadly so we didn't bother eating either breakfast or dinner there which we will hopefully do next time however our rooms were perfect and the staff all seemed very polite. We would love to come and stay again! Longer next time!

Beautifully presented.Lovely Cosy areas to sit. Location over the river is tranquil.

Stayed and the Swan for two and a half years for work. Great hotel, can't fault the staff.

Beautifully designed and decorated. Every room was lovely, warm and welcoming.

The towels were a bit scratchy and the room a bit hot.

The location, facilities and staff were excellent. The food was good value and coffee excellent.

The room we stayed in was a little "tired" with hardwood floors and only a small, frayed woven rug. It wasn't one of their most expensive rooms but nevertheless could do with a little refurbishment.The restaurant was a little chilly for comfort and had to ask to move to another table... which was done without a fuss. I'm sure had it been summer, it would have been fine.

Great location with a stunning view from my room of the Thames. Great facilities (coffee shop and restaurant).Will stay again as reduces my commute to the office

The location. The ambience generally.

Poor maintenance in the room. Shower not working. Basin mixer unit loose. Dirty glasses in room on arrival. Shower and basin issues reported but not actioned whilst we were there. They also messed up our room allocation.
