Location and staff are great

Small room and not as expected

A very clean and comfortable bed. Generous provision of toiletries.

The shower leaked out of the door, the overall style was more in keeping with an old set of Red Dwarf.

Clean and functional - perfect for an overnight business stay. Beds were very comfortable and everything in the room is just where you need it.

My room on the top floor (14) was near the elevator and there was some noise from the equipment as it operated - lower floors would likely be better.

really nice place, the room was a good size, lovely and clean sheets. the shower was wonderful and a good size. would absolutely recommend

would be nice to have a mini fridge for longer staying guests.

Incredibly loud, guests shouting all night, TV sporadically turned on every hour of the night - terrible nights sleep

The location was right next door to my exam centre and I was able to keep my belongings safely at the reception and head to my exam after checking out early. The female staff were very helpful

The male staff who initially checked me in allocated me a room with 2 single beds even though my booking was for a double bed.

The lift was so slow. Waiting 5-7 minutes every time was annoying. We were on the 10th floor so stairs weren’t feesable. We stayed 2 nights and had to get both keycards changed twice as we went to our room and they didn’t work. Incredibly irritating.Rooms are tiny

Near railway station and shops, quiet at night, staff lovely, bed clean and very comfy. TV remote didn’t work, but was replaced quickly.

Cups not cleaned every day, and sludge developed on inside of cups when holding tea/coffee. Yuk!

Brilliant location and the staff were lovely.

Decor in rooms a bit dated. Bathroom door was really hard to shut and didn’t really fit.

Room was good, shower excellent. I did not get chance to experience the bar or food. A group of us all came booking individually. We would be interested in booking next february as a group if a discount could be arranged .. a total of 7 stayed and three stayed at Novotel next door...

The location is very good, with the train station nearby and the town centre just a short walk away.

The only small issue was the room key card deactivating a couple of times, which meant a quick trip to reception to sort it out.

The staff was friendly Good location for Reading Railway Station. within 3 minutes walk. as well for restaurants & shops Breakfast was good lots opions for their have dietary requrirements like, vegetarians I sew non meat sausages, anyone is lactose intlolerance they proved Soya milk & Almond milk.

The room temperature was cold.

Location. Excellent use of space in bedroom/en-suite.

Downstairs toilets were disgusting. Very helpful member of staff suggested I use accessible toilet, saying ‘the woman will be in at 9’! ( It was about 8am)One lift was out of order the entire time.

The Location Was Great

The only thing I don’t like about it the Housekeeping Staff, it’s very annoying, they have a two lift but one out of service and they are accupated that lift so we are was waiting for 20-25 minutes

The hotel reception staff were amazing, nothing you asked was a problem and they always had a smile and I found them extremely polite.

The duvet was so thin I ended up covering myself with my coat to get warm enough to go to sleep.
