Courtyard by Marriott Oxford City Centre

The location was on a quiet street right next to the river and overlooking the back of the castle so very beautiful. Restaurants and shops were only one street away so very convenient.

I like using the stairs but they weren’t very welcoming. Clearly just for emergencies.

The hotel was obviously under renovation with sounds of drilling and banging from 8am on saturday! We weren't even given a heads up!

The staff kept asking me if I was American. Very offended by this. Wanted to rebook for the following week but they were booked up.

It was a lovely stay, we like your pleasant team, your good service, your clean neutral rooms and the generous breakfast. Great location. it is expensive, but , if everything works, that's ok.

It was a lovely stay, except that the tv didn't work and we couldn't watch the Winter Olympics, as planned. Your staff did their best to fix the issues, but it didn't work again until we were packing to leave

Really nice location, excellent staff and clean and comfortable rooms. Every time we stay here we enjoy it, and its close enough to the centre to make it a relaxing stay.

Excellent service from the staff. I noted on the booking we were travelling for a birthday, and we arrived to Prosecco, chocolate, and a birthday card in the room. The facilities were lovely and the location was amazing; overall great value for money.

The only fault was the green light on the air con panel that lit up the room during the night, so we had to cover it up. Also unfortunate that there was no on-site parking. There are 2 car parks nearby but it was very expensive. Definitely travel by public transport into the city if possible.

Overall nice hotel, good location and team.

Breakfast could be better and had some struggle with AC, it was too cold and had to approach the staff a few times to fix it.

The location was perfect, the room was comfortable and clean and the staff were amazing. I booked this for my Partners birthday, and the staff went above and beyond our expectations. we would definitely return.

It's just beside Westgate (a big shopping mall) and Oxford Castle. Convenient to walk to everywhere for Oxford visit.Hotel staff is very nice and friendly.We like the Dision Restaurant in the Oxford Castle, good noodles. 3 minutes of walk from hotel.

Booked a twin room and got a one in 1/F and facing a lightwell with all air cons.. Basically no view at all. The room is tiny for two compared to the price.

Well run clean hotel close to the centre of town and near the train station.

It was a central location and the room was clean. The staff were lovely.

The handle had been removed (making it impossible to open) from the window so we couldn't get any air circulation. The room became too stuffy and kept us awake.The shower couldn't reach a good heat so we couldn't stay in very long. The toilet door is designed with large gaps so it doesn't feel comfortable and secure but just feels exposed. There is no parking so we had to spend quite a lot to park in the multistorey car park and then walk back.The TV was a bit glitchy and had very few channels so we ended up sat on the bed watching things on my laptop screen.
