Pros +
- Wonderful location, clean rooms, very friendly staff. Good breakfast.(included)
- The breakfast room was clean, neat and freshly painted - pity our room wasn't. The breakfast was great - a full range available right up to a "full English"
- Ease of parking. Breakfast.
Cons -
- Our room consisted of two rooms separated by a set of steps - one being the bedroom and the other the bathroom Our bed was not a queen - not even a double - but a king size single - hardly big enough for the two of us - and was like sleeping on a slab - terribly uncomfortable. The furniture in our room was old and crappyOur room had a huge TV, coffee/tea but did NOT have - air conditioning, a fridge or a safeDuring our stay our room was not serviced once - we ran out of tea/coffee and toilet paper - this was not delivered to our room - we had to get it from reception - given freelyOur room was on the first floor of the adjacent building - the stairs to the the first floor were a slip and trip hazard - they were very narrow and we had to walk sideways to go up and down - which created a problem with our luggage getting up and down - NO assistance was provided by reception or hotel staffParking was another issue - the hotel has 25 rooms - we were in the second building - with only 4 parking spaces. The main building also had 4 spaces at the front - at the rear of the hotel were another 6-8 spaces - so there were not enough car parking spaces as advertisedFor the price we paid we would have expected far better than what we got The only decent thing about the place was the breakfast
- No shower gel.
- Everything needed paint and small upkeep. Big stain in the middle of the room, rubber on the tub falling off. Just a little fix it would make a very big difference

Loved the friendly staff - breakfast was wonderful. Liked my view of the garden
Everything needed paint and small upkeep. Big stain in the middle of the room, rubber on the tub falling off. Just a little fix it would make a very big difference
The staff!!! And the extremely comfortable bed and pillows in bathroom, clean, nice modern. The town is amazing ??
Not a thing
The property and location was everything I needed and expected. Additionally, the English breakfast buffet was even better quality than I expected. Outstanding!
My room was very warm even with the fan on given there is no air conditioning and England was experiencing extremely hot temps.
staff wonderful, very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was exceptional with very good choice
Possibly an armchair in room, particularly the access room where my dad stayed
Kind staff, comfy beds, great breakfast

Very modern and clean, room extremely spacious! Good views out to the garden. Staff very friendly, helpful and informative, would highly recommend
Nothing at all
Friendly and welcoming staff. Comfortable, clean rooms, updated with modern decor and super comfy bed, though still like many medium/small town hotels in terms of layout and facilities. Excellent cooked buffet breakfast in bright modern dining room.
The staff were really accommodating and provided a second mattress for the sofa bed. The whole place was very clean and breakfast was a highlight - superb.
The decor and paintwork are tired and well worn and in need of a refresh, but was very clean.
Nice breakfast, friendly staff
Very small bed ( disabled persons room so it was kinda a large 1 person bed... )
I have stayed at the Remont multiple times. It is a custom built small hotel, with well designed rooms, very nice staff, and a great breakfast. It is a short walk to the shops in Summertown, and the bus stops are also close. Numerous buses take you to the city center in 10 to 15 minutes.
Alex was incredibly helpful and pleasant. Greatly exceeded any hotel service person I’ve ever encountered. Her exceptional work ethic and cheerful demeanor greatly improved our stay.
Room was nice but a little small. Would book a larger room on a future stay
I really liked the hotel. Cozy, warm room. Delicious breakfast. Very responsive staff."
Everything is good
Good value comfortable and pleasant hotel conveniently situated just north of Summertown, with good parking, which is essential in Oxford. Room and bathroom were comfortable and quiet, and breakfast was excellent. Definitely will return.
Only issue was that the fire alarm went off at 3.15am! It soon became apparent that there was no fire (fire brigade did not turn up..) but it took ages for the alarm to be switched off so the night's sleep was effectively ruined. Of course safety is the absolute priority, but perhaps this could have been better handled with some gesture of goodwill. Otherwise all good!!
Convenient location with easy inexpensive bus service into Oxford. Park your car for free and leave it so you can relax. Breakfast was also good.
Rooms were fine but could really use a refresh. Beds were a bit saggy. Shower was fine for us but would be very difficult for someone older or with physical limitations.
The location was reasonably convenient for the access to the Oxford centre. It was great to have the parking on site.
The hotel is by no means a 4 star place. The furniture, carpet, bathroom were dated. The sofa bed made for my son broke down while he was sleeping with the extended bit ending up on the floor. The space felt very crowded as we could barely pass through the narrow space between our double bed and the sofa bed.Worst of all, a fire alarm went on at about 3am, and proved to be a false one. We did get up and spent a while outside while staff tried to silence it.We would not be staying there again
Ticked the boxes, nothing special but spacious room and good value for Oxford.
