    Pros +

    • Great location. Friendly welcome.
    • Happy as Larry with this one. Location was simply on point, only a few twerks away from the places I had to be. Quiet hood just off the battle of Jericho, where some lovely cafes and restaurants are. Room was great, priddy basic, but that's what I expect of a uni accommodation. Straightforward check in and out.
    • Perfect location if you are doing summer school at Oxford University!

    Cons -

    • Access a bit awkward with multiple steps and keys.
    • Breakfast could do with a bit more variety (every day exactly the same menu) and maybe slightly later than 9.30? I had to miss two because it ended too early. Normal hotels would still allow you to come and eat until at least 10.30.
    • Room and building look a bit tired but works ok.

    Great staff and location. We were lucky enough to stay in an apartment once lived in by my partner's great great grandad's family in the 19th century, and there should really be a plaque to French teacher Jules Bue on the outside of the buildings which used to be nos. 1 and 2 Wellington Square in the 19th century (;

The wifi set up seemed very odd. Could have had extra blankets. TV in bedroom did not work. Quite a bit of noise from other parts of the building at times during the day.

Location was central and close to where needed to be. Clean comfortable and a great breakfast!

Parking was very expensive, but we knew this from the start and couldn’t be helped on this visit

    Location is great.

We have rented here before. This time it was like a good friend turned bad.The room still had hair products from previous tenants in drawers complete with hairs; The chair was stained on the seat with some unknown liquid (picture attached); The shower was so weak that it was inadequate for use (video attached); The Internet was an attempt to influence renters to provide personal information to a commercial company (Sky) - the internal Internet required daily log-in, the service that would cut out; no notification on check in on the need for separate passwords for each device. We rent 20-25 places each year. This was far away the worst Internet service provided.A box covering pipes is located so close to the toilet that it cuts into one's hip when sitting.

    Quiet, Private, Centrally located.

Rooms were in the attic so the sloping ceiling was a bit of a bother

    I liked the location

It was cold, but they had enough blankets and a heater

    8UnwinPosted on: 1-16-2026

These university halls are above the standard you would expect of this type of accommodation. It’s a great location. The staff we’re helpful.

It is expensive for what it is.

Close to colleges BREAKFAST WAS GOOD

Since a dorm third floor access was limiting

The room was lovely and spacious with a gorgeous view. It was spotless and so comfortable! All staff were brilliant, so welcoming and accommodating. Excellent central location too.

Easily accessible and in a great location.Quick check in and very clean tidy room

    Nothing , was all good

    6ArthurPosted on: 12-19-2025

The room was nice. But it was tricky to find (not in the main block). I was woken at 0900 by the window cleaner. I guess you get that in student digs, even posh ones.

It was hard to find the right block.

    7LindaPosted on: 12-14-2025

The size and cleanliness of the room was good.

For the price I expected much better WiFi.The instructions in the room said to log on with the cloud but it didn't work.I also would expect the TV to be much larger.

    7YvikPosted on: 12-12-2025

Very well located, quiet, generous breakfast

The bedroom was not very comfortable, the bed was too small and wasn’t straight, the toilet kept leaking and making a lot of noise. Maybe it’s just the room I was in
