Everyone I spoke to was lovely. My room was nice and clean. Breakfast was lovely.

Food was passible and the staff game me milk refills.

The shower in my room had poor pressure

The staff were very kind and helpful. The breakfasts and evening meals were good and tasty. I had meals all three nights of the stay.. Cottage pie, scampi & chips and hunters chicken.

The shower in the room was ok, but not very powerful

Ideal location did what I needed, comfy, staff very friendly. Room had what I needed, breakfast good mainly booked as it was close to the station and where I was going.

Shower was very weak, and bathroom in need of a freshen up.

Did not have time for the included breakfast but was given an amazing sandwich to take away instead. I also had an evening meal. Very tasty steak, cooked to suit.

The ceiling in my top-floor room was head-banging and I had to bend a bit in the shower.

Quite upset to see vermin traps behind the beds!Quite cold, had to ask for a heater. Towels were worn and a bit hard. Food indifferent.

Warm, quiet, comfortable room, even with trains close by. Friendly staff. Easy run to Heathrow, which was the reason for staying.

Meals were not great, just normal pub food. Pubs like this are an endangered species and worth supporting.

The lady that was there was very helpful, polite and chatty, nothing was too much trouble. And I LOVED Brunel, absolute gorgeous dog.

How quiet it was, a place like that should be a lot busier, such a shame. The price of the rooms were quite expensive, there are 11 in total and only 3 rooms rented out (2 for me). I feel if the price was dropped on the weekend it would attract more people, more people spending money in the bar and restaurant, and in turn creating a better atmosphere.

Rooms were clean and comfortable. Location was good and lots of parking.

The staff were attentive but not welcoming. We hoped for a friendly, cosy pub where we could have a nice meal and a few drinks. Food was very basic but well cooked. Breakfast was ok but limited offer. The overall offer was very basic but lacked care or interest in making the experience a really nice one.

Clean warm and welcoming... it felt safe and friendly as soon as I arrived. It's also a little quirky which I like. Breakfast is basic but freshly cooked and tasty.

Traffic and train noise can be heard but its peaceful overnight
