Pros +
- Comfortable bed, good access to dining and shopping facilities.
- The hotel was clean and the beds were comfortable. Food was available at the hotel and from the services next door.
- Location and breakfast were excellent
Cons -
- Staff were quite ride and dismissive when I enquired about breakfast upon check-in, which meant that I opted for elsewhere. The majority of guests and staff spoke no English which made the stay for a lone female quote uncomfortable. Fire alarms were going off at ten pm, with no one offering explanation other than to "ignore it"
- There were only 2 sockets in the room and they were situated above a desk which made it hard to plug things in.
- Initially given the wrong room, had paid for a suite. The tv didn't work, the extractor fan in the bathroom did not work and the door to the room did not lock.Only one chair in the room

Initially given the wrong room, had paid for a suite. The tv didn't work, the extractor fan in the bathroom did not work and the door to the room did not lock.Only one chair in the room
Great comfortable room and good breakfast.
Bad signage on the site. Went twice around the houses finding the entrance in the dark.
The food was good. The reception staff were helpful and did all they could to be fair to them.
First room, the window was broken and didn't shut. So they moved me to another room. SAME PROBLEM! I'd recommend someone check the windows of this hotel as they all seem broke, including my colleagues who came. They advertise that they have a gym. They don't. It's a broken cross trainer and a mirror in a room that stinks. Constant beeping throughout the corridor all night too which resulted in me having around 2 hours of solid sleep. Awful place.
Location , breakfast , bar and most of all outstanding staff
Cold on arrival in room
Cheap accommodation
Might watch to improve on getting rid of dust on windowsills in corridors and hoovering carpets.
Was ideal location for where we needed to be, warm, welcoming, clean and great value for money with the breakfast included.
Was only 1 pillow each on the beds so couldn’t get comfy.
Breakfast was nice & staff were friendly.
Bed was brick hard, being woken up at 4.15am with someone kicking the door next to your room, simply isnt acceptable. A total lack of respect for anyone else
room was clean and tidy
breakfast was cold and items missing having to wait for it to be cooked wasn't busy so don't understand why
Staff were friendly, check in was quick and efficient. Room was comfortable, clean and the right temperature. Easy to park and validate the car by entering the reg at the check in desk, yes it costs £5 but I think that's ok.
Whilst the room was comfortable and clean, there was a strong odour from the bathroom (specifically the shower drain) that permeated the entire room. It's not an issue of cleanliness, I believe it's just the smell getting through the shower trap, probably need better fixtures. I decided to just keep the bathroom door shut and open the window rather than ask to swap rooms as it was already quite late in the evening and couldn't be bothered with the palaver. We had our dog with us, paying an extra £20 for him is a bit steep in my opinion (other chain hotels we've stayed at have provided a dog bed/bowl/treats but nothing included here).
Location of where we were going to.
But disappointed really. My take on Ramada is a bit higher than premier in. Well that’s what I thought. The Bathroom could have done with a deep clean, long black hairs on the floor and black Mold in the shower.
Comfortable Bed, Excellent helpful Staff. No Lift however the reception staff carried my bags up to my room and room service carried them down again.I thought the charge for parking was unjustified as the hotel was positioned in the motorway service station.
Value for money, staff are courteous and welcoming. Clean rooms
Shower heads could be better.
Convenient and cheap
Smelly and no ventilation
Nothing!!!!
- there were 3 staff members in the whole building. I would have complained in person if I was able to find anybody! - my room was outdated and was cramped, it looks as though they gad put a temporary bed in the family room. - my corridor smelled like rotten eggs, in fact, multiple corridors smelt like rotten eggs. - we had booked an evening meal for 7pm… but was not served until 8:40 pm, my children had eaten their food at 7pm but I was left 1 hour and 40 minutes without, when it arrived my chips were inedible due to them being put in the microwave (I had actually seen them do this as the kitchen is visible to the restaurant) my fish was cold. And the peas were hard. - the bar had run out of virtually everything, I was unable to get a glass of lemonade, or even a blackcurrant squash. The alcohol was extremely limited. Very very poor service, I will be emailing to request a refund on my entire stay.
Breakfast was nice, the man cooking was lovely. Only thing that made this bearable
Where to start, hotel is beyond dated, theres damage and dirt everywhere you look. Kids running up and down corridors, knocking on random doors until midnight and from 5am with no help from staff or the parents to stop this. Room radiator was on full heat going in and was unbearably warm for us but especially the dog. Toilet didn't flush properly and to top it off I had housekeeping knocking 15 minutes before checkout telling me to go! No one at reception to complain to at checkout. NEVER again!
Cheap and clean
Facilities are poor and rooms are extremely dated
Good location, price for the night
Wifi kept dropping out, Shower cubicle was very small for an excective room
Good location at a service station with a variety of food facilities nearby. Good access to motorway for a quick getway the following day.
Its obvious that most people will require a parking space as this is located at a service station so I was disappointed that I had to pay for parking, even with a blue badge. The staff were preoccupied when we arrived and continued their private conversation without acknowledging that we were there for an unacceptable amount of time. The decor was tired and worn on the stairway. The rooms were clean and nice.
