Holiday Inn Express Oxford Kassam Stadium By IHG

I never went, I got covid a day before I was supposed to be there and they refused to refund. They were ok if a person with COVID came b to their hotel rather than refund a little money to keep their customers safe.

It' location near both a theater and multiple restaurants, as well as it's almost new appearance and very good breakfast.

N0, it was great!

The bulding as well as inside room is new and clean.

I rented a car and used the hotel as my home base to visit Oxford, Oxfordshire, Woodstock, and the Cotswolds. I admire the peacefulness of the area. The staff is friendly, and available. The rooms are spacious, and colorful.

My view was of the stadium.

The breakfast was very nice.

The bed was a little lumpy in our room and there was no top sheet. We finally took the duvet out of its cover because we where to hot with it on.

I liked how staff at front desk were friendly and helpful. The cleaning staff also friendly but the kitchen staff not so much. The room was always clean and the bathroom facilities were excellent. Easy bus access to Oxford centre.

The location was by a sewage facility meaning every morning when walking out hotel we would be met with fowl smell. Which was worse when waiting for a bus and you wouldn’t want to go for nice breeze walks in this area. The breakfast wasn’t great, for cooked you had bacon, sausage, beans, scrambled egg and mini hash browns. No tomatoes or mushrooms which by day three I really wanted. Yes there was a waffle machine but no decent fruit to go with it (the fruit there looked like it came from a tin). There was no great choice of cereal. If you wanted to eat out you would have to travel either by bus or car to find a restaurant unless it’s Frankie and bennies as there wasn’t a great choice of restaurants within walkable distance.

Room was clean.

Breakfast was a disgrace. Nasty sausages, greasy bacon, reconstituted juice and coffee that I'm convinced had never had a whiff of an actual bean.

Handy for John Radcliffe. Plenty of parking space. Good internet. Comfy bed and quiet room.Husband enjoyed breakfast.

Checked in early. Nice comfortable warm room Breakfast was excellent. The lady who cleared up the tables did an excellent job, clearing and wiping tables as soon as they were vacated.

clean and tidy. Good location

breakfast was terrible

comfortable bed

offhand staff at reception nothing left for cooked breakfast

nothing. I have not been. I rescheduled for February and for some reason it says on this website that it has been completed

everything

the rooms was clean , and the location was very good

the breakfast timing was too early and not long

The room was spacious and very clean

The fact that I had to be moved to another facility mid stay

disrespectful behaviour

i have booked the hotel for an exam. they informed me 24h in advance that I will be moved to a different hotel. i have tried all day to call them - no one picked up the phone. i had to pay £40/taxi to get there on 3 separate days. who’s paing for this?!?

Rooms were decent size and clean

Breakfast was not the greatest scrambled egg beans and sausage that was it disappointing

Clean, tidy room. Bathroom & shower v clean. Communal areas of hotel also very clean and tidy.. FOH staff helpful & friendly. Good value for money. Even handier that the 3A bus stops right outside & takes you into the City Centre in about 25 / 30 minutes. Would definitely stay here again!

Nothing. We had a great stay.. I wouldn't change anything.

Location, cleaness of the room

My stay was for 4 days, the room didn't get cleaned. When I spoke to staff they apologised and said they'll do it and it didn't happen until I checked out! The worst thing was finding hair in the scrambled eggs at breakfast on the last day. The parking is 'FREE' yet when I got home, a week later, I found 4 parking tickets!!!

Staff were friendly and helpful, room was made and ready earlier than check in and having car parking on site and a bus to the city centre opposite the hotel was really handy.

The room was clean but only in visible areas - areas just under the bed or the shelving had been missed and there were crumbs and some dirt that should have been removed as part of the housekeeping. There could have been a couple of additional options at breakfast - e.g. there were no hash browns and there was only scrambled egg as a choice of eggs - but it was included in the price and there was a reasonable offering of bread, pastries, fruit, tea, coffee & juices etc.The city centre was a fair distance away by bus, but I’d originally booked the hotel for a different weekend (with an event closer to its location) so this was why.

Very friendly staffGood locationGood breakfast selection

Pillows & bed were uncomfortable
