Pros +
- Quiet and calm in a busy city.
- Comfortable
- Our room was very small - it was not clean, when we asked for a lets check out on the morning we were leaving the receptionist was curt in her reply no. Breakfast was really poor. Not a nice experience overall. We travel to Manchester 2/3 per month for work and as season ticket holders at Old Trafford.
Cons -
- Lift could take a little while. And there is only one.
- Rooms were noisy, I could hear the guests upstairs every step, there is no sound proofing
- The WiFi in my room (10) wasn’t great. The layout of the room was a bit odd - you have to walk through the bathroom to get to the bedroom.

Location and brilliant front of house staff. Great shower. Cracking breakfast.

Loved my little room. Lots of cute finishing touches. The infinity jacuzzi, on the top floor, which is free for guests, is out of this world.
The mini bar was on the pricey side. Some of room decor (eg a phrenology model!) was a bit odd.
The rooms and the rooftop pool was gorgeous
The new spa had very rude member of staff, no one to show you around when asked why the sauna wasn't on she half heartendly said the sauna hadn't been working for a few days but no one at the front desk notified me when i booked and paid extra for use of the spa. Its lovely but not worth the £400 + we spent on a treat night out in town.
Access to the rooftop pool.
Only having one lift. Staff weren’t the most helpful. Service was very slow.
Gorgeous design, central Manchester, clean, well kept
Super clean and great facilities.
Men’s changing for spa was quite a walk but other than that everything was great. We also wish the rooftop pool had the option for later use 10/11pm.
As always the property is in a great location and the rooms are very quiet
The staff seemed to have gone backwards.
Omg blown away in so many ways prestige hotel. Excellent service friendly staff.Decor was immaculate loved it every detail. Infinity pool wow no words the veiws on from the pool unreal. Excited for breakfast.
200 deposit unexpected only on apple pay. But for the experience made up for it.we made memories for life.
The hotel itself. Staff were great. Rooms were lovely and clean. Best part is the shower! Loved it. Stayed last night and already booking again for 3 months time.
The bed/pillows. Because it was two single beds pushed together the fact that my partners mattress was very sunken/dipped it made it a little uncomfortable to sleep.
lovely comfy bed, lovely staff, big thick towels and brilliant shower
everything was brilliant
We loved our stay, rooms were really clean, we have wanted to stay here for a while due to the pool and it definitely lived up to expectations!
The only downside for us were the pillows, they just were not supportive enough for us so didn’t have a the best nights sleep. Would love the little lights in the bathroom to be sensors instead of on all the time as we like sleeping in a very dark room so the odd light here and there were a tad annoying but maybe we’re just fussy sleepers. Apart from that the room was lovely
the service from hotel &...
The Arrogance of the manager. First hotel in my life that i have stayed at that declined me a late check out when i told them i the night before, i feel sick & i even said charge me. But the manager said i am already for one hour but i need it back at 12. They gave me misinformation, i came to pay cash at the hotel, they charged me £100 deposit per night. On the spot then they said if through apple pay another £100 per night on the spot. Imagine someone didnt have it then what? So they saying if its 7 nights they charge £700 extra what world are they living in this is the first hotel i have experienced this at. Theres no leverage with the customers. Disgusting first experience. I’ve been all the world & i have not experienced something like this.
Pleasant
The staff unfortunately were incredibly rude and everything felt like an effort. This was the case across multiple staff members. We ordered some cocktails and 45 minutes later asked if everything was okay. We were rudely told they were waiting for an element of it with no offer of an alternative until I asked. This was met with a huff. Additionally we were purchasing cocktails in a 3. Not once was the cocktail full and they simply used the shaker typical that would make 2, spread it across 3 glasses that were all half full. For the nearly £1000 bill for 2 nights for 2 people I was shocked at this service.
We already know we love king street townhouse as we got married there in 2017. Everything just as good and tranquil as we remember. Fantastic facilities and great nights sleep
Thermal spa, cozy room
7th floor facilities very small
Room was amazing, so comfy, cute and peaceful. The vibes in the bar and the place where amazing. The staff were so friendly. They helped take the bags to the room for us and they also made sure that our bags were well looked after for the whole day on the day of check out. The infinity pool is an experience and it can be both relaxing and fun as there are 2 small things you can do in the pool that improve your experience (try the buttons on the walls). It is perfectly situated near some outstanding restaurants in the heart of Manchester. We would definitely visit again.
The view from the infinity pool is the only thing that I think could have been better. Other than the fact that is was slightly underwhelming every other experience was perfect.
The room was amazing , from the clean beds and gorgeous smelling toiletries to the great staff. Had an amazing stay
