- Room.
Cons -
- Couldn’t find fault with hotel. The restaurant let it down as there were 5 items not available on the menu. The choice we finally made was very nice.
- Staff at breakfast not very helpful
- Staff weren't helpful or particularly friendly - breakfast service wasn't good - nothing being refilled or cleaned. Also had to pay for breakfast twice to then be refunded. This happened to everyone but wasn't convenient.

Good
Queue to check in, only one person on reception and she was not particularly welcoming
The location and hotel design. Clean rooms, nicely designed, but everywhere looked short of staff.
It was cold and unwelcoming, the reception and seating area was freezing ,some of the staff looked bored with you. All the breakfast was cold , bacon, sausage you name it although decent cold buffet, empty used plates around you and not cleared. And although we had booked our hotel, which included breakfast, we had to pay again then go to the reception and claim it back. The hotel also takes £50 when you pay and it is returned obviously in a few days into your account, they have card details so why not check room and charge if they need too. We did not eat at Ginos but plenty of people we met in lifts, complaining about the restaurant.
The view and staff
The stains on the curtains looked like dried blood, and the shower door didn't close fully
Well appointed, convenient, comfortable
Quality of food at breakfast isn’t as good as we’ve experienced previously
Modern feel, welcoming helpfulStaff . Comfortable beds , quiet rooms.Good location
Layout of open plan bathroom with separate toilet and shower cubicle . No privacy to use the sink or get changed unless you got changed in the toilet cubicle !
The location, next to transport hub, excellent. The staff were extremely helpful. Igor on the front desk gave travel help and provided a friendly interaction which was greatly appreciated. The bar and restaurant staff were very accommodating making our evening special.
Nothing to dislike.
Great location and lovely touches to the room
The bed wasn’t very comfortable
Every single thing from the staff hospitality to the hotel location, it was fantastic.
The meal and hotel cleaner who does not understand English.
Always a lovely place to stay x big open plan minimal rooms - clean amd calm .. lovely staff and great location
Nothing loved it
Was made so welcome on arrival gorgeous receptionist who was so helpful we requested a late check out which was no trouble had a fantastic stay and a nice lazy day the next day plenty of r&r ...
The breakfast was lovely and a wide variety. The room was spacious and a nice view of the skyline buildings upon sunset. And we had a choice of bath or shower. Bed was large and very comfortable
I was disappointed with the spa. I was expecting more than just a small sauna and steam room and I also expected slippers and robe inclusive of the price but they were not. Also when I read ‘free mini bar’ I expect some alcoholic beverages as a ‘bar’ carries alcohol. It was just soft drinks and tea and coffee
Great location, great service , very clean
Clean
Breakfast average for a melia, No toilet paper in the main lobby, I asked them and they said use the toilet on 1st floor, 30 minutes later still no toilet roll, lazy staff
The location was great in proximity to the event we were attending. The 50% discount on food at Gino D'Acampo (Jan only) & the 10% guest discount at the bar. All the staff we encountered were lovely.
Only one disabled toilet for the whole of the bar & restaurant area, we had to return to our room when we needed the toilet.
Everything. It was a beautiful hotel and the staff were very nice
The restaurant was expensive and we didn’t get told about a holding deposit either. But it is a very expensive hotel.
Ideal location for attending a show at the Palace Theatre Gino D’Acampo restaurant within hotel was a great place to have dinner before the showFirst Street carpark is very close to hotel and discount code is offered for booking a place
The open plan bathrooms are unusual, other than coat hooks there is nowhere to hang clothes not a problem for just one night but if staying longer would like somewhere to hang clothes
Good choices for my daily breakfasts. I had a bigger than average room on the top floor, with great views of the city's skyline. The extra large double bed was comfortable with soft bedding and pillows. Large walk in shower with good quality shower products were good.
