    Pros +

    • It was quirky and unique and easy to get to multiple places
    • Loved this hotel, family friendly with good rooms, bar and restaurant, just what we needed for a short shopping trip in Manchester.Staff all friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend and use again in the future
    • Exceptional.Extremely lovely friendly staff.Perfect location.Very thoughtful touches inc hair conditioner, hot water bottle & the free sweets!Loved the free food vouchers and the welcome pint

    Cons -

    • It was very male focused. The bathroom door had a gap so you no privacy (might as well not have one) there was not stool to sit down and do make up or hair and the lighting was so bad and dark you couldn’t really see what you were doing anyway, The mugs and glasses were dusty and our milk provided was out of date.
    • The only very minor point was the slightly soft mattress for our backs
    • Shower was showing signs of wear, but all very clean.

Quirky room with fun features like the record player and guitar in the room. Staff were super helpful - we did the beer school too (bought separately) and Gui was very knowledgable. Eunice was great at helping us out. We also had dinner there and the food was lovely.

Really friendly staff, nice layout of rooms. Room had a vinyl player and an acoustic guitar (in tune), which was a nice touch.

Shower was showing signs of wear, but all very clean.

    All great

I like the comfort and the unique features brewdog offer.

The bathroom in the hotel rooms are not very private.

Great, friendly staff - always welcoming brilliant sense of humor.Comfortable room.

This was my second stay at the dog house. In the summer, I paid under £200 to stay in a standard room - mid week. This stay, I paid over £300 to stay in an upgraded suite, it was advertised as bigger and better. I saw no difference apart from the bathroom being more descreet. I appreciate that I probably paid extra for a room on Saturday and on Valentines day... But the difference in price for nothing different was mind blowing!! I still had a wonderful time and will be booking again (hopefully at the cheaper price)

The room was great, bed was comfy and it was fairly quiet at night.

I was a little disappointed that we weren’t informed whether the shower beers were part of the minibar or included in the room price, so didn’t touch them. Also the listing states a meal is included with your stay, it isn’t. There’s £15 off a meal per person. We ordered food at 5pm before going to a show which we needed to be at by 6:30pm. It took almost an hour to come to the table and when it did only my wife’s burger came out (over £15 for a chicken burger with no sides at all is ridiculous). Eventually mine came out after she’d finished hers and mine was luke warm at best. The staff were apologetic and offered to replace the meal but it was far too late now and we needed to leave for the show. To his credit, a staff member offered us a breakfast the next morning and gave us a couple of beers for the tram but as we had to catch a fairly early train we didn’t want to risk waiting for the food again. I had booked to stay in March for another show but unfortunately I just didn’t feel like the room justified the cost and the food was a real let down.

This is the place for real BrewDog fans. The room was great — super cozy, comfortable, and spacious. Having fridges stocked with beer is already a win, but a beer fridge in the shower? Absolute madness

Great theme and superb room. Very good shower not one of those annoying low flow shower heads as in many places. Inviting bar area and the beer school was nice thing to add to the trip.

Hard to find complaints really maybe more hooks for towels in toilet. The information on if the dinner coupon could be used for breakfast was bit difficult to find.

Location was great for getting around Manchester. The food and drink was of a high quality. Well stocked mini-bar and an excellent selection of snacks. Enjoyed the ambiance of the room and dinning area. Staff were friendly and flexible. Overall, an enjoyable experience.

This was our second DogHouse stay. DogHouse Manchester was just as amazing as our first experience. The location is absolutely perfect, right near everything we needed which made our short trip so easy and enjoyable. The rooms were spotless, including the bathrooms and we loved all the thoughtful extras like the pick & mix sweets, free hydration station and m bike hire. The beds were incredibly comfortable, especially with the Simba pillows - such a nice touch after a busy day exploring. We didn’t quite have the belly space to try the 24-hour hot dogs this time as it was a quick visit and we’d already made our way around the other BrewDog bars in Manchester… but that just gives us an excuse to come back and try them next time! The staff were friendly and welcoming throughout our stay, which really added to the experience. Overall, another brilliant DogHouse stay — we’ll definitely be back.

Location was great, welcome drinks on arrival and room was comfy. Paid a bit extra for the captains suite but it was quite small. Not sure what the difference is between the lower price room and this one. Free sweets after a few drinks were great. We had a great weekend

This is a quirky hotel which is part of the Brewdog Bar chain. We had a very good stay, it was centrally located, the breakfast was good and the staff were attentive. The shower was excellent! We would stay again.

This is a personal comment. Because of the nature of the hotel, the bedroom was very dark and the dim lighting had a reddish hue. It was super when a floor light came on if you got out of bed to see your way to the bathroom, but not ideal if you wanted to work on your computer.

Fantastic location, excellent little touches and amazing staff! Pick and mix sweets on the landings which were free are a great idea after a few beers. Location is central and it's very close to transport links if you want to get out of the city centre. Loved the vinyl selection in the room and the selection in the mini bar.Staff are super helpful and have some great recommendations

I think it’s brilliant that you can use basically a voucher instead of just a free breakfast. Me and my partner like to sleep in when we get the chance and being able to have a decent lunch with a voucher was very pleasant.

Maybe a better deal with the local carpark? It was still quite expensive to park there even with the discount.

A great, quirky hotel with the well-known Brewdog brand bar and kitchen attached! Lots of small touches and extras are available. We had a 'Captain's Suite' and took a shower beer package. Drinking water and free pick and mix were available on each floor, and the first beer on arrival was free.No complaints about the room at all, it was easy to adjust the temperature, low key sensor lights for getting up in the night. Bed was firm but comfortable. Plenty of pillows provided. Was aware of the room having a record player, so brought along a few albums too (there were several available in the room, mainly Manchester-based bands).Food was good, booking a table easy and great service, could not fault that at all! There is an open-air bar/seating on the roof top, though being late on a January it wasn't open, but it was useful to be able to go have a cigar up there!I'd definitely try Doghouse Manchester again.

The location worked for our stay

Restaurant/bar toilets were shockingly dirty and smelt of urine. The room bathroom had a sewerage smell and half of the charging points didnt work.

Stayed in the hotel and had food and beer in the bar - room was fantastic - very well equipped and very comfortable. Very quiet despite the central location. Food was excellent (Burgers for lunch and Eggs Benedict for breakfast). Great choice of Beer and the revised Punk was excellent along with the Hazy J. All the staff were very friendly, helpful and accommodating of requests. Highly recommended - won't hesitate to return again in the future - with thanks to the entire Doghouse team who made it such a memorable stay
