Location perfect for city centre

The building is a little tired but that’s the character and it was perfect value for money and a base close to the city

Perfectly situated central location, spotlessly clean best value for money .

All rooms accessed via steps not ideal due those with mobility issues however didn’t matter to us.

Rooms spotless, beds comfy, perfect location only minutes to centre, staff are amazing very helpful, rooms have all you need will definitely stay again.

A lot of steps but this can’t be helped however not ideal for those with mobility issues however my party of 16 girls were fine. We loved being so close to the hustle and bustle but not for those who are looking fur a quiet location we loved it.

Great location, friendly staff, nice clean and quiet room. We booked a twin room, the beds were smaller than regular size single, that was the only downside. Would stay there again.

Very small beds.

The location is a short walk from the railway station. There is a nice pub as well, and there are many restaurants in the neighbourhood. It is only a 20 minute walk to the Ferrry Cross the Mersey through city centre. The room was comfortable and quiet.

The hotel asks for a 50 pound deposit which is to be given back after the stay. I checked out with James and he neglected to return the deposit.

Beds were nice enough. Pretty cheap in decent area.

Shower didn't work at all. At once point toilet also stopped flushing until later in day. We called number at first for shower and was told it should work with no follow up. Twice more we tried to call but it led to voicemail. Also some staining on bed/bedding.

Simple but effective. Provided a comfortable room, nice shower, and big tv.

Wasn't quite sure what to do with my trash over the week. They had a number to call, but as someone without an international phone, it would have been nice to have an alternative point of contact to message.

Great location,cozy room and amazing staff(thank you for everything!!)

One minor drawback was the limited soundproofing between rooms, and the double bed felt a bit small. However, everything was handled and resolved by the outstanding and very helpful,receptive staff!

Despite the small space, the room had everything you needed. The bathroom was also very clean. There was a heater in the room for additional heating. Despite the fact that there are bars downstairs, it was very quiet. The location is absolutely gorgeous, right in the city center. We checked in quickly, checked in, and checked out just as quickly without any fuss. We really liked everything. If we are in Liverpool again, we will definitely come back.

Staff were very friendly and helpful as there was some confusion with where to go to get in the correct building. Check in was quick and simple and checking out didn't require a direct hand off so was very easy.

Good location, clean comfortable room.

Only one toilet roll.

Very close to amenities plenty of heat

No shower gel and could have done with a towel change.

Comfy beds.

Given no details about how to check in and misleading ad. Black mould in shower. Inaccessible due to stairs and no lift. Coffee machine broken. Given teabags in cups but all the tea bags had been wet. No milk. Loud.

We had a budget room and it was fantastic bed was really comfy and very very clean

Room 1 in quiet location - clean and had all that we needed for 1 night

Check in was difficult- went to the lowest of the hills accommodation this was not our place of stay, nor was the check in in the pub next to it, was asked to go to the check in pub 4 doors up was sent back to the first check in point then we were refused again and sent back to the 2nd pub up the hill and was told to check in here. The lady asked for more details and realised we were checking in here but the accommodation was one door up again. Very unclear as were 4 properties seemed to have the same name/management/ business. Room was comfortable and night time staff were accommodating.

The stairs we were right at the top and both of had disabilities which meant walking up 3 flights of stairs

Bit confusing where to get booked in/out.And electric tripped 4 times in morn whilst showering.

Very comfortable bed, had everything I needed felt safe. I was in the attic so nice and quite.

Lots of stairs (top of building). Shower needed resealing or a good clean (I didn't use it for this reason) only stayed 1 night so didn't matter. TV signal needs sorting.

Location was excellent

Bed wasn't very comfortable and we had to be out by 10:30 at the latest and exceptions
