Very clean property

Noise levels, tried to have a quick sleep after travelling for 4 hours. Couldn’t due to the noise levels from downstairs. Was told that could expect some noise due to it being on a nightclub area road. Fair enough, didn’t expect to hear pounding music at 2pm. Evening was fine

Very good location in City centre. Close to railway station. Plenty of Pubs close by and not far to Retail outlets.

No downside. Not luxurious but good value.

The place was clean and welcoming and the staff were lovely

We were on the front of the hotel and the window didn’t close properly which meant it was quite noisy all night

Excellent location and staff were really good. Check in was fast and hassle free.

Room very basic and the bed was not the most comfortable, the mattress has definitely seen better days.

I had a wonderful stay at the Hanover Hotel as a solo traveller. From the moment I arrived, everything was smooth, welcoming, and well organised. The room was comfortable, clean, and perfectly suited for one person, with everything I needed for a relaxing stay. Staff were friendly and approachable, always happy to help, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The hotel has a warm, pleasant atmosphere and is well located, making it easy to get around. I felt comfortable and well looked after throughout my stay and would happily choose the Hanover Hotel again. Highly recommended.

The location is excellent for sights, like the albert dock, cavern. The room and the bed was very good value for money , breakfast good .

Hotel is in a good location close to town and Night life. The breakfast was nice

our room was at the front of the Hotel on a very busy main road .noise insulation was poor old style windows so could hear everything outside but it does state this on their website

Comfortable beds, good air, easy to regulate temp. Really nice staff. We were there for new years and were warned about party noise, but there were very little.

Breakfast could be a little more interesting, a little healthier perhaps:)

Great including breakfast. Very clean room good bed and heating. Good hot water. I would stay here again. Didn't hear much noise as I asked for a quieter room which they gave me so I had decent sleep. Also allowed me to check in earlier as the room was ready. Great service the staff are friendly. Good location for walking around the city centre

Upon arrival I was greated by the manage MY LOVE that's it instead of saying nice to see you again E.C.T welcome back. On the same night at the bar a young lad gave me abuse I was just sitting at the bar on my own it was his birthday but I never seen him before so I told the managers about this she DIDN'T DO ANYTHING and never said ime sorry for your experience to me and ime a paying guest he wasn't just a drunk. also I waited about 6 minutes at the bar around 7.48 pm to get a drink but the bar staff they were more interested in playing pool and I had to shout to them to serve me also there's only APROX 3 other customers in there BAD BAD .also EVERY MORNING around 6.12 AM there's a VERY LOUD HUMMING NOISE from outside the bedroom window its stopped around 12.35 pm also I could here next door using the WC..NEVER AGAIN in that hotel so it's up to you no wonder there's ONLY a handful of customers go in there SHOCKING. Aswell as this there's a kettle in the bedroom to make tea or coffee for yourself but no water to put in it ..the only water in the room is in the shower room sink witch isn't for cumsumption so it says it all NEVER EVER AGAIN NEVER

The rooms need updating and the hotel is noisy but that's to be expected, it didn't put me off

Ideal location, perfect for the city and train station isn't that far away. Bed was ok, room a bit dated but still fine. Breakfast was good and kept you going.

Noise was a massive problem, but had ear buds in to try and combat it as it's right around the clubs, so if after a quiet night probably not the best place.
