Aachen Hotel

Very good location close to city centre and next to Mount Pleasant Car Park which is good for overnight parking. the room was clean, warm and quiet.

Nothing really if i was being picky I would say the reception and downstairs area of the hotel were quite cold.

Clean and quiet hotel. Nice bars and restaurants close by and only a 10 minute walk to busier parts of the city centre. Good choice if you want a simple hotel with no fuss. Would happily stay again.

Lovely room and very charmingly British experience of being offered tea and fresh milk in our room upon arrival by the kindly innkeeper. Very clean too!

Would have loved the bathroom to include shampoo, conditioner and body soap

Good central location. Easy to get to. Good parking facilities nearby that are affordable - can park overnight for £6! The room was great. Ample space and two good size beds. Everything we needed for our stay.

Only thing I’d point out is that the room was located right at the top of the building, but not really a significant issue.

Comfortable bed, central location but still quiet

Very convenient to be close to the duty centre and the Georgian area. Quite hotel with charm.

Tiles on the bathroom floor are polished so you need to careful after showering.

Only downside is parking, however this is right in the city and there’s Mount Pleasant car park less than 200 yards away at only £6 for 24 hours so for the price and location it was excellent.

Small room and had to squeeze round bed to dressing table. But quite adequate and good value.

very clean, newly renovated .lovely welcome on our arrival.given a small bottle of fresh milk to have with or cuppa- very acceptable- thanks They very kindly allowed us to leave our luggage with them on our departure day(and we collected it later)- thanks

there was a fire door into the ensuite- it was very heavy and very firm-obviously I am unaware of the fire regs but i would be concerned that someone may have an accident with the door.

Old b&b style. Paid quite a lot for a Saturday night. It was clean and had tea and coffee facilities and a microwave. Good location near Lime Street and cheap parking (£6 for 24 hours) at Mount Pleasant.

I could hear when other people used the tap or flushed the toilet. Im quite a light sleeper so more of a me problem than the hotel.

Good location, clean, spacious and quiet. I also appreciated the availability of fresh milk each day. Helpful host.

My tv kept buffering so I wasn’t able to watch any catch up tv.The wooden stairs could be noisy.

The hotel has a reception desk, so there was no problems with e-mails , access codes and stuff like that. Everything was clean, the bed was comfy, close to the city, easy to find.

The shower was a bit obsolete, the head permanently fixed overhead. The walls were too thin, you could hear people coming back in the middle of the night.

The staff were very helpful about giving me access to my room early as I was attending a wedding and wanted to change beforehand.

Overall the accommodation was a little small and run down for the cost of around 110 pounds a night. It was also up a lot of narrow stairs ... must have been 2nd floor. I would think more about £80 as we booked it relatively early. There was an ironing board and iron attached to the wall which was a little strange and a little in the way in a small room ..though obviously useful given I needed to press my dress. At one point I thought we might cancel and join the brides family at the hotel they booked but we weren't able to ring and talk to anyone. Apparently there had been a phone malfunction.
