    Pros +

    • Rooms are superb. Large and comfortable with all the amenities for a break away from home. We’ve stayed here on numerous occasions and the hotel and its staff never disappoint
    • Liked the rooms, very clean and comfortable very spacious the breakfast was delicious so much choice
    • The big bed and double shower

    Cons -

    • We didn't like the parking, fortunately we got lucky when we arrived to get a space. But felt we couldn't go anywhere in our car incase we lost our space and couldn't park on return so we had to pay for taxi instead. This is a bit inconvenient. We were also so disappointed that we could not use any of the spa/pool facilities as it was all booked even though I tried for 3 days before arrival to book in..
    • Had to leave
    • Had to pay extra for the spa Hallways and rooms were to dark Nothing within walking distance had to get a taxi Car park wasn't a rolling 24 had to pay on exit every time you left the car parkExpensive food and drinks at the bar and restaurant No bottles of water in the room Room was massive so the heating wasn't effective- didn't get warm

    Good vibe, nice character

The extraction in the restaurant was not very effective and the whole place smelt of cooking, including the first floor hallways

Everything!!! It’s our second visit and we will definitely be back!!

I’d like a “big light” in the bedrooms. Whilst the mood lighting’s very tranquil when getting ready you need more light.

Loved the room. It was nice and spacey like being in an apartment. And the spa was nice

Bit dusty. Took a while to heat up. The view was floating rubbish. And there was no tea in the spa. Nothing major apart from the floating rubbish

    Spacious

That you can only use the pool certain times and you have to pay extra to use it

    7FrancesPosted on: 2-19-2026

    Size of room and parking.

On arrival at reception there was very little communication from staff and they didn't look very happy. Lack of choice on menu as vegetarian. Waited 20 minutes before getting served in seating area at bar and it was quiet with 4 bar staff available.

smashing room- lovely high ceiling and great en-suite

no room in the resaurant for dinner.

    Poor

Hotel has awesome design, nice facilities amd f&b departments BUT the heating was not working resulting to a freezing room. Moreover instead of heat noise was only coming from the ventilation system.

    7TinaPosted on: 2-19-2026

Staff were very friendly and food was good quality.

Soundproofing in room was very poor as could hear EVERYTHING that was happening next door.

    10SylviaPosted on: 2-18-2026

The attention to detail was second to none, I cannot fault anything. The hotel was amazing, our room was so nice, and the bed was incredibly comfy. I never felt my partner move once. The spa topped off a wonderful stay in Liverpool.

I have nothing bad to say.

    Luxurious, spacious, kind staff

Menus dont reflect real prices sometimes on menu

    2AaronPosted on: 2-18-2026

The sauna, I spent 210 pound on a room that had stained seats and carpets.

Stained carpets and seats and got woken up by people clattering about outside at 7am

Beautiful building and the room was incredible with fantastic art work, posters and history around the white star fleet. The service was outstanding and the staff went above and beyond.

    10ThomasPosted on: 2-16-2026

The rooms are stunning and very sizeable. The beds are comfortable and the views are interesting.

Parking on site can be awkward and is expensive

    8LaraPosted on: 2-16-2026

Me and my partner loved our stay the staff were extremely friendly throughout and if we needed anything we felt comfortable in asking, very attentive bar staff :) our room was lovely and super clean, slept very well

I was let down as we had paid £20 for petals and chocolate for Valentine’s Day, I would of expected red petals abit all around the room or in a heart shaped pattern the petals were pale purple just a few dotted around the bed didn’t really make sense wasn’t worth £20 didn’t really add anything to the room to make it any more romantic unfortunately

    8AdelePosted on: 2-16-2026

    Lovely hotel, in good location.

Room was stunning, but could have been cleaner. Didn’t use the coffee/tea making facilities as they were covered in a thick layer of dust.

Everything about this hotel is amazing! Cheap taxi ride from lime street station, room was amazing! Staff were all helpful and polite. My wife had some treatments at maya blue treatment within the hotel and she loved them……the food is just amazing! Will definitely stay again!
