Requested to change room twice - staff were helpful Re this matter

Not warm enough so requested additional room heater also did not think room heating was functional

The hotel is very quiet and a nice vibe and pleasant staff. Always on hand to help.

The carpets weren’t the cleanest and when we checked out of our room, it came to our attention that someone hadn’t even checked us into the room the day before even though we had keys for that specific room? Very odd but other than the small minor things cannot fault the hotel as a whole.

The coffee and location

We want to bring to your notice about the broken bed and mattresses in our room. Thisbissue has been pending since November. We reported the broken headrest on our bed in November and the poor quality of mattresses with broken springs/no springs and fully goes flat at a lot places. The hotel did replace one of the mattresses, however it is still the same and the other mattress has broken springs and uneven surfaces. As you are aware my medical issues, it is causing a lot of issues to my injuries and leading to more pain and complications. I am due to have another urgent review with my surgeon on the 23rd Feb for the same. The bedrest completely detached and fell injuring my husband with splinters. We reported the same to the Hotel and everyday havebeen told that they will fix it. Still pending and no one has fixed it.It is health and safety hazard. I request your intervention to help fix the issues.

Excellent room - made so much better by a complimentary upgrade! So spacious and super comfortable.Good breakfast offer - all you’d expect from a traditional cooked English breakfast, a great selection of cheeses and meats and a variety of pastries, etc, to suit all your breakfast needs!Great location, overlooking the river, close to the Liver Building, Albert Dock, a plethora of bars and restaurants and the shopping centre.Staff were really polite and helpful both on checking in and checking out.

Nice hotel, we were in the 9th floor and the views were great plus it was so quiet! They were having some refurbishing done so during the day there was a little bit of noise from the work but we only noticed when we nipped back to the hotel during the day. No loud clattering service trolley noise first thing in the morning to wake you up.

Booked here for the football at Hill Dickinson, perfect location, car park 50 yards away so no issue, hotel itself very good with great breakfast. Got it a a decent price as well, so hard to fault.

The quiet....

Although the bed was 2 single beds pushed together and you could feel where they met in the middle.... the bed was relatively comfortable.... you kind of sloped into the middle section and got stuck there

First and foremost the staff. Attentive without being intrusive. Nothing was too much trouble. Ian on reception was very helpful. The ladies in the White Bar were really nice and friendly too

Nothing to dislike

Comfortable room with lots of space. Good and timely room service and food quality.

Lots of works going on that were not flagged in advance. Lifts out of order when I arrived so I walked 9 floors to my room - with luggage.

Location and room

Being woken up early as workmen making noise banging and dragging things across floors! Also when got back to hotel bar was closed

I liked that it was near to the docks, quiet at night and staff customer service was amazing.

Clean, air freshened to smell very nice.

I was on the 9th floor and and equipment above was so noisy that it was almost impossible to sleep.

It was close to the hill dickinson stadium and short walk to the city centre breakfast was really good plenty of choices .
