    • We had a stunning view over to the liver buildings and the river, the shower was nice and the bed was so comfy.
    • Location and good price
    • Liked the location, breakfast & room.

    Cons -

    • The only down side was the thin walls could hear next doors arguing but other than that everything was good
    • Breakfast wasn’t great, although it was supposed to be cooked to order some items felt stale
    • pd extra for a view but the double glazing was blown and couldnt see for condensation, when i said at reception they knew about it,so why charge extra???? we have stayed before when it was mercure and they were very helpful, able to get in earlier or would take your bag but now they want to charge for both

Perfect location and great to have nearby parking. The charge was a little high at £14 for 24 hours, £10 would have been more acceptable. We paid £43 for room only on offer which was fantastic, however we didnt take the offer of breakfast at £16 each. Good tip is there are numerous cafes nearby that do breakfasts including greggs of course. The place is starting to show signs of age now but is still a very high quality and location is perfect.

Rooms are always clean & staff are always polite!

only negative thing to say is the bathroom was very small not much room for getting in & out the shower or bath but this depends what room you stay in!

The room was better than I expected, with a great view of the docks and pretty to overlook the city at night. I had a wide variety of food to choose at breakfast from and i was very happy with the coffee machine. The staff were amazing and very friendly. Overall i cant say i wont come again :)

Unfortunately, I had a tv remote that had two options: either YouTube or Netflix. When I pressed either of these options on my controls, all it did was show me the time. So I was disappointed by that, but glad I could watch Netflix on my laptop. The cleanliness was a bit poor in some areas i.e dust on shelves where I was going to put things. The hash browns were dry.

The location was good just a short walk to the shops ,ferry and pubs ,did not have the breakfast a bit overpriced, the room was good apart from the position of the tv when lying in bed you had to turn the volume up which made it very loud for next door ,and the bath could do with an anti slip mat.

Breakfast and shower. as above also the mattress was so uncomfortable I woke up with a sore back.could do with being replaced

Great location and room was very clean.

The shower was in a bath and didn’t drain properly so filled up the bath while you showered. We had a jack and Jill bedroom so had a door into the joining room. We obviously kept it locked but the people next door were shouting throughout the night and banging and trying to unlock the door throughout the early hours of the morning and we could hear everything. But once reported to reception it did stop.

Room was clean, really good view, had a lovely package which was so nice to come in to, bed was very comfortable

Walls are quite thin, can hear everything other guests are getting up too

    Clean but basic. Good location

Charges for access to the room before 3pm even though it was ready and to leave bags. Room was very basic and the bathroom needed dusting. Very limited options in the bar and no sport showed

Close to tourist attractions Good facilities.

Door was somewhat ?broken.Did not sleep okay as pillows smell a bit.

    7AnnPosted on: 2-15-2026

    location.

heating - the rooms were cold and heating adjustments difficult.

    3MariaPosted on: 2-15-2026

    Location and good shower

Rooms were damp and mould growing over and under windows.Aircon unit was filthy so couldn’t use. Both me and my partner came home feeling pretty unwell from staying overnight in the room.

Perfect location, clean, comfortable and we were looked after very well

    Nothing, all good

    8AnnettePosted on: 2-14-2026

Great location with good sized comfy beds. Room was an ok size with a nice view of the liver building. Restaurant was nice to eat in if you didnt want to have to leave the hotel.

Stayed here for 4 nights and got my towles change once after having to ask 2 times for fresh sheets on the 3rd day. No soap and when I asked for some (twice) we got shower get. Our room was not cleaned once or a bed made during our stay. Just think when I stay and pay for a hotel I pay for clean towles and bedding!

    1ZoePosted on: 2-14-2026

    Location

Bath was dirty, room was freezing and heating didn’t work. Bed was like sleeping on a rock. Paid for a late check out and was disturbed twice within the hour I had paid for to say I needed to get out!

    10LeahPosted on: 2-13-2026

Location, it was nice decor and spotless

    7NicPosted on: 2-12-2026

    location, staff

the pillows were so bad my wife and i had a dreadful night sleep which made my business meeting the next day challenging and also a long drive back home quite difficult

    8JoePosted on: 2-12-2026

It's very close to Everton football club and in a nice part of the city

    The bar closed too early
