Urban Pod Hotel Liverpool

This was a total surprise, on a back street so extremely quiet and the room itself was a haven, warm, clean, comfy bed and looks very new. The comms with the staff were good when I needed to check the code to get in. Hairdryer, iron etc all there and even a microwave. I would definitely stay here again.

The hotel itself is a little out of the way close to student blocks, thus I guess the price. But honestly the quality of the room trumps the location for me so I'd still stay here again.

Room very clean, beds comfy

Bathroom had a light sewage smell. Was a little bit cold at night even though we turned on all the heating.

Very clean and upto date great Facilities in the room will definitely book again on next visit to Liverpool really enjoyed the stay

Everything was pleasing, and I will surely stay here again and again. The self-service procedure happened to be the best experience for us at the hotel. The room setting and arrangement, with the room temperature being the best. Great place to stay.

Everything is okay. Our expectations were met, and we will surely be staying here anytime we are in Liverpool. We will also recommend this hotel to friends and family.

Lived the key code access, lovely fluffy towels, stylish, chilled water, good pillows and thermostat temperature control. Quiet but convenient location.

If I'm being picky, the wall light didn't work and the ceiling lights were dusty.

Clean, quiet amd comfortable

Comfy beds, plenty of glasses/cups/plates/bowls in the room. Breakfast items were a nice touch in the foyer!

Would benefit from a full length mirror. The bathroom door didn't close, there wasn't a handle for the type of catch for the door to shut etc, so was lucky we were good friends!

Communication was great. Room was very comfortable and cosy. Lovely set up with additional items included.

The plumbing is a bit noisy.

The room was generally clean, tidy, well equipped, air con was decent.

The bed was uncomfortable, the bracket to the shower was broken so it came off the wall as soon as I turned it on. WiFi was really poor.

Nothing it was Worst Horrible Experience Of My Life.

Worst Experience Ever,Terrible Bad.Key code did not work used key.Body hairs all over bed never cleaned from previous customer.Care taker eventually came and I helped make my own bed with different bedding but was so upset did not feel comfortable and not able to sleep.Smell of sewage in room and apartments.Could not shower not enough hot water to even finish shaving.Cobwebs in the rooms.Fire alarm went off had to report.Lied to by gent on duty as he said owner would refund full amount,sent bank details never received,sent telephone number to Revolut never received,suggested to get b.com to refund me and deduct from him never received.Last phone contact promised to forward owners telephone,never received.Note. Do not stay here as its below road level rooms with sewage problem which may suggested planning issues can be followed up investigated later and no one on full time care for fire alarm which may not have Insurance Cover in event of fire.Terrible to be lied to on phone and false promises to cap the whole frightening experience.Have video evidence of Nighmare Experience.

The hotel offers exactly what it advertises, plus a few good surprises (microwave, plates, cutlery). They were very responsive before and during the stay, quickly answering questions and dealing with requests.

Everything was clean, just not sparkling clean. Also, until it was time to check in, I hadn't understood there was no staff at the hotel at all - that could've been more clearly stated.

no chair in room for sitting down. However he room is a bit too small to accommodate a chair.

Location is good. Aimee that works there is a lovely and helpful person.

All locks is controlled by keypad, pin number....so when something goes wrong you cant do anything about it!

I have a restricted diet, so didn’t make use of the breakfast provided in the foyer. However it was good to be able to top up the tea/coffee if I needed to. Having a small (very small!) fridge in my room was very helpful, and enabled me to keep food I could eat for my breakfast.

The description said that the room had a view - it didn’t matter at all, but the frosted window, at street level, can’t be described as having a view (although admittedly when I opened it a little I was able to spot the Radio City tower.It would also have been helpful to have had some way of washing up the crockery provided.

The owner replied to my calls and texts very quickly. I was the only guest for a while so this hotel is probably the best secret in Liverpool.
