The Mountford Hotel - Free Parking

Loved our stay,but they really need a decent coffee machine,and the choice of a cooked breakfast,such a beautiful romantic hotel,but we did not enjoy the breakfast,but it did not spoil our stay.

Breakfast...fresh bread,decent coffee.

Location good for Anfield. Free parking. Was the cheapest hotel I could find but still well over what I would normally pay for a hotel.

The breakfast was very poor. Only hot food was porridge and a boiled egg. Coffee was tasteless.

For a budget hotel this is excellent value. Staff are great and the bed was comfortable. Good choice at breakfast.

The shower curtain was very mouldy.

The breakfast was not to our taste,fresh bread would of been nice,they should really do a cooked breakfast,it wasnt our choice of breakfast,but i am sure other people woukd like it.

Cold room and v poor breakfast

The breakfast was very good and we all enjoyed it. The greeting and registration from the staff member was also very good. Our room was up to standard with comfortable beds.

The bath did not have a bath plug and when I mentioned it when we left I was told "We do not supply them". This meant when I returned late at night looking forward to a nice soak I could only have a shower.

We were put in a room that was quite clearly for a disabled guest, there were two other guests that were elderly and commented re the stairs so more appropriate for them. The rooms were cold unless heating was on which wasn’t scheduled until 7pm as it was cold it was out on at 5pm.

The staff were wonderful. The lady at reception answered all our questions. The breckfasts were very good, and anything that run out was immediately replaced. I would love to return to this place.

It was ideal location only 10 mins in taxi to city centre

Room to small, ensuite doors would not close, the most uncomfortable bed i have been in my whole life. Every movement and tiniest noise could be heard from the hallway. Tv about 20 years old and limited Chanel’s, not smart one. The only hotel that has no usb ports and i’ve been to worse places but usb ports always in hotels. Breakfast appalling, glasses for drinks the size of two sips, had to get up 5/6 to refill from the main jug, food choice very poor. The quality of the toasts, meats (ham ,salami) bad quality and probably the cheapest u can find in a shop. Cheese looked like cheese but no taste at all.

So I stayed here over a week ago and still haven’t had the £50 holding deposit back and I know the room didn’t need extra cleaning

Showerhead broken . Couldn't inform to receptionist as no receptionist in the building. Broken sink. Try to tell receptionist. But no one there.

Its an older hotel but tastefully decorated. The staff were helpful And we had a drink at the small private bar. The room was mostly warm and the bed was big. It was near the park and also we got a bus to the airport today for just £2directly across from hotel. Also the was a good even though it was continental.

Well I struggled with the 2 flights of steep stairs I didnt book a disabled room on a lower floor. But I never mentioned this to the hotel.

I thought breakfast was Limited. It was ok but not great.

Staff was lovely and it was nice to see that there was a pool table there. Rooms was very clean and comfy.

Very poor with the breakfast choice. Should do an English breakfast. Deco was a bit outdated.
