    Pros +

    • Location was fabulous. Walking distance to everything. Great view from our room, which was spacious, comfortable and quiet.
    • Great location, good breakfast
    • Location was amazing right beside everything

    Cons -

    • Having to book a mobility room for my blind mother. On arrival we were told if we wanted to check in early it would cost us £15 per hour. There was no thought for a disabled person. When we did check in the room was passable but the walk in shower room wasn’t as on the guard rail it was all pealing off and was so sharp you could cut yourself this needs to be replaced.
    • Was gutted I didn’t get the upgrade Also a knock on the door at 10 am from the cleaners when I had an alarm set for 10:30
    • I needed to visit reception in the evening, no one was at the counter. So, I queued up at the bar instead, to be told there is someone at reception but in the back room, they’ll see me on the camera and then come out. A sign stating this would have been useful. No Netflix on TV. Breakfast was full when we went down so we sat in the bar area (no issue) but we had to ask for cutlery 3 times, my food had gone cold by the time we got the cutlery. If cutlery was left on the side to help yourselves, this would be much more beneficial Big queue for checking in

    Location! Amazing!

Loved this hotel, however, I've travelled around the world and never been called by the hotel and told I was meant to be checking out today.. Having to come back to the hotel and resolve their mistake.I then was charged on check out day for an extra night !! Only to have to again resolve this (luckily my bank told me I had been charged) and I then was told there was an extra £17 to pay? For what it has never been made clear. Shambles.

    Loved the location. Available rooms.

Car parking is very expensive and only a couple of spaces

    7AshtonPosted on: 2-20-2026

    The room was big

They allow dogs into the rooms Which also meant my Partner had a flee bite on her leg

Comfiest bed ive ever stayed in! Perfect location, helpful staff- the only downfall is the price- however arguably it is worth it for such convenience and comfort!

It was nice and clean, staff lovely. We stayed on valentines so it was busy but not too busy.

    The location

The hotel aircon has given me the sorest of throats and severe chapped lips no windows in the hotel room to open not even a tiny one so aircon removes all humidity from the air, the iron was half broken and barely worked. The aircon also made me girlfriend ill you can only turn it up 3 degrees or down 3 degrees

I just want to say a huge thank you to all the Hilton staff for being so welcoming and accommodating for my daughter’s 9th birthday. I planned a mum-and-daughter pamper night for her and she had the best time! The view was unreal, and we were so touched by the beautifully made birthday cake and card that were left for her, it really made her feel so special. We truly appreciated the extra effort and will definitely be coming back. Thank you again!

Staff were very friendly, smart and helpful.Rooms are quite large. We had a bath and a shower.HairdryerNice view

Only one socket for charging on one side of the bed.The tv reverberates maybe cheap or need new speakers. The toilet is set quite high so no good for us shorties.Got talked in to the extra £80 to use the lounge for free drinks 6 to 8 and breakfast but lounge was too full so couldn't go in, second morning had to sit in the bar for breakfast as dining room too full. There were dogs allowed in the hotel which is not clean.Feather pillows and duvet so had to take antihistamines.

The location is perfect, I have stayed at the hotel before. The bed is really comfortable.

The hotel is quite dated and has a tired feel about it. I stayed in room 302z The room carpets are stained, so was the chair in the room. The wooden furniture is chipped and worn. It was clean but needs updating. The shower was quite poor.

Was a really good location in the city.

Staff were not the nicest. Very cold and didn't interact much. I was offered earlier check in at the counter because im coming from a different country and was a few hrs earlier then check in. When I said yes thank you. Im told it's an extra 30 pounds a day...... then I told her no its fine il wait. Why offer it then ask for money

Excellent location and good view of the river

Room was surprisingly noisy. Got woken by other guests' doors closing and external noise from traffic and a fog horn(!).

I really enjoyed the room. The bed was very comfortable. The view of the docks and central location was great.
