The close location to two main train stations and two main bus stations. Walking distance to local shops and to the city centre. The rooms were very modern as was the large bathrooms.There were two bathrooms in the female 6 bed dormitory The rooms were very clean.

The lower bunk bed is too low , it hasn't got legs , so you cannot comfortably sit up or pull yourself up.One of the bathroom showers didn't have the hot water working.Most of the individual bed lamps didn't work.No where to cook your own meal.

Funky building, everything was great!

The gap between the end of the bed and the wall was tiny, my partner tripped and hurt herself, otherwise the place was great.

I didn't like being woken up by next rooms door being booted and banged on 04:00 in the morning cause they were locked out was the only thing.

Lovely hotel, but our room was downgraded from the suite we booked, to a standard room. The one we were given certainly wasn’t the standard I would have expected for the price I paid.When we arrived back to the room following our night at the theatre, there were 2 half naked drunk men in the hallway who couldn’t get back into their own room. We were offered breakfast, but my partner waited ages to have his order taken and the person on reception didn’t seem interested in speaking to him. Fortunately the chef noticed him waiting and took his order.At around 10:50, just before we were due to check out, the fire alarm sounded and we had to evacuate

Clean and local

No lift we were on the top floor it was a killer to many stairs with luggage

The location, the room was very clean, big bathroom

Too much footstep noise and please fix the bathroom door, it does not have a handle.

quite location about 10 mins walk from lime st station

i was in the basement 3 lots of stairs,(not every good with stairs)Bathroom auto light would not not always come on where you walked in had to thumpable in the dark

I liked the convenient location, the price and the front desk support.

The fire alarm went off at 2am, the plug sockets by the beds didn't work, and the lights in the room couldn't be fully turned off.

The location is excellent, just a 5 minute walk from shops and bars, and only about 30 seconds from convenience stores, while still being very quiet and safe at night. The staff are alright, and the overall value for money is decent.

We were placed in a 6-bedroom dorm with two bathrooms. One of them didn’t have a shower handle, and the washbasin was clogged, so all six of us had to use the other bathroom in the morning. The heating didn’t work either. It wasn’t really necessary since the room temperature was comfortable enough for sleeping, but we wanted to use it to dry our towels and couldn’t. The beds and floor were super clean, but the bathroom floor and windows needed better cleaning.

Have stayed here a few different times when it was hatters and selina first time since its.been named malacuna seems to be gone way back.Very little light in room when light is on one bathroom had a door that was cracked in the middle and also door handle was broken could easily get stuck in the bathroom.The other bathroom door couldn't even closed over and was no light in the nor did the shower heat up anybit Some of the bunk beds had no power in the sockets or the little light didn't work either.One small pillow per bed a very flimsy one at that Was a left over t shirt from a different stay Issues were said to 2 different memebrs of staff who didn't seem to want to be working at all one came down to the room and said a maintenance man would come and didn't.Overall a very poor stay compared the other stays I've had there

The room was very clean and the bathroom the cleanest I've seen in a hotel. The room had big windows and was bright and it was easy to get fresh air. The shower was good and the bathroom was spacious.

The room was small, but an ok size. There was not much room for furniture but a small bench or something to put the suitcase on would be nice.
