    Pros +

    • The staff was friendly, and the location was close to everything.
    • Booked the hotel to stay with family a good 8 months beforehand.. to be told 2 weeks before we were due to stay The accommodation was full? Very disappointed?
    • nothing to be honest

    Cons -

    • The bed was very uncomfortable, and the bathroom was grimy around the edges. There are night clubs next door, so it is loud on the weekend. Our room was also stuffy, even with the windows open.
    • staff wasn’t professional, a lot of coming and going in reception. water stains on ceiling in corridors. the room was very cold the radiator was to far and wasn’t big enough ti heat the room. water leaking from sky light on to bed and floor. The windows were ti this as in sigle pain and noise from street and the coldness was going in from the window.
    • door getting slammed a lot in communal hallway

Good location and easy to find

Others staying seemed a bit worse for ware and possibly housed there by the council whilst awaiting permanent housing. Disheveled old men drinking and people shouting/getting nearby takeaway in the PJs plus there was a barking dog in a room near us.

The location is perfect for enjoying Liverpool's city centre and the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The kitchenette in the room has good facilities for cooking and a fridge for keeping things cold.

The room didn't quite match up to the pictures and looked a bit ragged. The kitchenette didn't have much cups, plates etc. which was a bit disappointing. The showerhead is very small and not installed high enough for anyone 6ft+. The bed only had 1 pillow per person and the reception weren't able to provide any more pillows. Thankfully we were given other things to bulk up the pillow space instead. The bed is quite small and the room isn't very quiet (partly due to the central location but partly due to thin walls and windows). The skylight in the room could not be covered, meaning sunlight shining in the room in the morning whether you want it or not. It also began to condensate by the end of our trip leading to the water dripping on the floor and bed on our last night.

I booked this through bookin.com but when I arrived there were no rooms available. The hotel informed me it was a mistake by Booking.com and tried to assist me in finding somewhere else to stay. The lady at reception was very helpful. I eventually found other accommodation for the night.

No assistance was provided by Booking.com and later I found that they had charged for both the cancelled stay and the one I arranged to replace it. After a long day of trying to contact them they eventually agreed it was their mistake and would fully refund me for the cancelled stay. I have yet to receive this refund.

the Location was perfect. ok for a one night stay and close everything and shops close by. would be really nice if it was cleaned well.

photos didn’t match to the rooms online. studio wasn’t cleaned to a good standard, hairs in the shower and a old soap bar left in the shower with hairs on, floor was full of bits and needed to be mopped. the bed was really small, corridor was very noisy throughout the early hours of the morning.

Read a view of the reviews and was apprehensive tbh....Could not have been more wrong...we came for a football game and the location was excellent, room was clean & facilities were perfect for what we needed....Dont know how people made the complaints as we both found it very good. The staff @ the front desk were happy , helpful ,friendly and done they're jobs with a smile and pleasantness above and beyond what was required...Louise and the rest of the girls were excellent.....if you come expecting the Ritz ...then that'll be your own problem....As for what you get for your money value wise ,and service wise...you simply cant fault it....Liverpool is a hen / stag / football city + party city.....If you come for any of these reasons.....dont hesitate to book @ Stanley Street Studios .

    Nothing...it done the job perfect

it stank of mould and damp

Great location, very central. The room itself was quiet for a Saturday evening in the city centre - very little noise from surroundings. I wasn't disturbed at all overnight. Facilities worked well - oven, microwave etc. Shower had hot water (always a plus!). Staff were very friendly.

View out of the window could have been better.

Lovely and clean. Check-in and out, easy stress free process. Great location and very close to Matthew Street.

    Very unsatisfied.

Not happy. We walked in and walked straight out. On arrival there was people shouting out of the bottom windows and passing drugs. Drugs were being used outside proparty (these people then walked into the property and loitered at the doo. Anyone could walk on there is no security. We arrived to our room, which looked nothing like what was shown online. It was unclean and had a foul smell. The television did not work. There was no wifi it was not what was sold to us. I rang once I left and asked to speak to a manager. I got told I would receive a phone call back as they were busy….. I am still waiting. I’m not happy for the price I paid and had to leave within 5 minutes of arriving because it was that bad. I am still wanting a manager to contact ASAP.

    Centrally located and comfortable accommodation.

Fortunately I was situated on the higher floors but is could be quite noisy closer to the street level.
