    • Another really comfortable and enjoyable stay.We very much appreciated the surprise upgrade to the Wainwright suite... thank you!The hotel is in a perfect location for us being a 3/4 minute walk from the station and on a very quiet street. All the staff we engaged with are very friendly, helpful and professional.A huge bonus is the restaurant, Sous le nez, next to the hotel where we had a delicious lunch.
    • Staff polite particularly Caroline & helpfu. Location great but no parking available. Due to lots of roadworks in the city it took us a long time just to get to Que Parks which was the nearest parking . City square offers lots of restaurants. Went to a Keralan on recommendation of hotel - very good . Staff uprgraded our room which was kind to the Roger Moore Suite ! Hotel has lots of character - breakfast great with plenty of choice . Great shopping nearby and Arcades are lovely .
    • Gorgeous room, great location, lovely staff

    Cons -

    • Everything was just perfect.
    • No Parking available - would go by train next time as station was so nearby Quebecs. Would have been nice to know about the roadworks. Lounge/ Bar area quite small .
    • Quite a lot of noise from outside could be heard

Friendly staff, very helpful with parking and explaining costs/politeness, great location outside the train station and a beautiful interior.

Cleanliness, there was an empty syringe packet behind the headboard which was concerning, aside from that room was spotless.

    Beautiful hotel

Very dishonest to state that there is parking, 3 spaces for a 200+ bed hotel is unacceptable. £30 a night and a 20 min drive to the nearest car park.you'd expect more than 3 tv channels too

    beautiful hotel, good breakfast

confusion over parking, mixed messagesThe parking was a good 12 mins to drive, but quicker to walk backWe did note hotel is very near the train station.

    Location

Expensive for what it was. Has pretentious of grandeur but details let it down. E.G. four sachets of long life milk and only one caffeinated and one decaf coffee bag! Heating in room was cold to start and we struggled to get it warmer.

The breakfast fully met our requirements and beyond. We only usually have cereal and fruit for breakfast. In this instance we had the cereal, and in my wife’s case tomato and mushrooms , whilst I had bacon and mushrooms. Full breakfast would have outfaced us!

    Nothing!!

Nice big room, comfy bed and powerful shower. Great location

Didn’t like that the door was locked when I arrived (12pm) and there was a sign on the door to telephone a number to be let in but I could see receptionist there, who didn’t buzz me in, and ignored me. I had to go and come back again to be let in.

Staff were friendly. Old school vintage charm. Beds were comfortable, pillows soft. Very good location, a minutes walk to the train station. Nice bathroom toiletries, with slippers and bath gowns provided.

Carpets looked a bit worn out. The breakfast conservatory isn't really a conservatory and the view isn't great. Breakfast was very overpriced for what it was.

Excellent central location, well sized and nicely decorated room in an interesting building with no external noise as located on a non through-road. Friendly reception staff and able to securely store luggage if arriving before room available

Discounted parking details were not shared in advance so we ended up parked in a far more expensive car park - discounted parking available at Q-Park Sovereign Square only but none of the other Q-Park options. Breakfast was also a little basic for the price paid

Exceptionally friendly staff. Nothing too much trouble. Whole place was spotlessly clean. Bed and room comfortable.

    Nothing it was perfect

    10HannahPosted on: 2-6-2026

Beautifully presented, quality everywhere. They go the extra mile with customer service, everyone was so friendly from the front of house to the cleaners

Only thing I would say is the carpets could maybe use a refresh in the bedrooms

I stayed in a lovely room the balcony suite and being a return visit after many years was plenty surprised that it was still a lovely hotel, although to see the honesty bar replaced with an actual bar was sad but necessary in these modern days for a good hotel, looking forward to returning soon.

Great location. Hotel with character. Clean. Lovely staff. Big bathroom with bath.

Small dated Tv in room. No phone charging sockets by the bed. Very soft flat pillows and no spare pillows available. Noise from rattling windows elsewhere in the building on the first night.

Stayed here 4 times now it’s out for to place when visiting Leeds .Good location , lovely cosyrooms and friendly staff .

The wine in the fridge in room is very expensive .

Great location, fabulous cooked-to-order breakfast and very comfortable, spacious and classy looking room.

Placing a 'pending' charge of £50 on a pre-paid room is not becoming of a high class hotel like this. It pre-supposes a level of mistrust in a customer. The only other places I have had this done is at very basic one/two star properties. It left a bad taste.

    8AndrewPosted on: 2-2-2026

Reception was helpful and friendly and arranged for baggage to be taken to our rooms. The rooms were spacious well appointed and very comfortable. The bath and shower were spacious and high quality. Location close to the railway station and shopping centre was great and a bonus was (although not part of the Hotel) a very nice French Wine Bar/Bistro in the cellars beneath the Hotel. Although in Central Leeds the hotel is up a side street and was very quiet.

Parking was limited and very tight and at £20 per night quite expensive, albeit the going rate for the City.

    10MichaelPosted on: 2-2-2026

My room was amazing, very spacious and luxurious. Location is great, can't get any closer to the rail station. Very friendly and attentive staff. Loved the place.

    Nothing, was amazing.

    10LeannePosted on: 1-29-2026

Beautiful hotel, great location, very quite and heard no outside noise. Very friendly staff and were happy to help. The hotel room was very clean and the shower was incredible.

The pillows were a little too soft, could do with maybe being slightly firmer but that's personal preference, apart from that everything else was perfect.
