Radisson Blu Hotel Leeds City Centre

Room on 5th floor looked out on the Cathedral and with the windows open it was quiet and with a pleasant breeze. The bed was comfortable and a good size. The shower operated well, although the shampoo for the bath and the hand wash at the sink ran out very quickly. It was a nice touch to find body lotion supplied in the bathroom and two bottles of still water supplied as complimentary. Angelina on reception was very helpful. The hotel is well located and close to a great restaurant called Banyan which I would recommend.

Many channels on the TV were either not available or not connected.

Stayed here before which is why I choose to stay again with my daughter

We stayed in room 219 everything was fine except the bathroom (disabled) the shower waste was quite unpleasant smell. Kept the bathroom door closed.

Comfortable bed spacious bedroom and good location

I'm a light sleeper and was given a room facing inside the the light shopping arcade .it was quite noisy outside with shoppers and I'm not normally out to complain but the noise was absorbing the TV when it was on .soninwekt downstairs and asked if I could have a quiet room to which they applied for me no problems so thanks to reception staff I had a great night's sleep

It's situation is really good, very central and close to lots restaurants

It was a little dark, a bit "tired" around the edges, but smelt great when you walked in, staff friendly

The general cleanliness was of a very low standard for a hotel chain of this size and would put its reputation into question. There was rubbish from a previous customer, the carpets had dust, a toenail and hair along the edges and under the bed. Dust was also present along the tops of furniture. In the bathroom, on the floor there was a tampon wrapper, the shower floor was dirty and the shower head dripped throughout the night. The air conditioning sounded like a jet engine even when on the low fan speed setting and the temperature seemed to have a mind of its own. The room in which we stayed and property in general would benefit from a full renovation/ refurbishment in my opinion. Upon check out, we were not asked how our stay was and felt unable to raise our complaint as there was only one member of staff on the counter and there was a queue of other customers behind us.

Room was spacious Breakfast was good, especially liked that the fried eggs were prepared as needed rather than sitting under lights getting rubberyGood distance from train station, shopping and eating places.

Needed more cups/glasses in the room as there were 3 of us but only 2 of the above items. Drinks tray needed more milk and sugarLighting in room was pretty poor, the mood lighting made the room seem dingy more than relaxing. No teaspoons in the restaurant at breakfast and the mushrooms were colder than we would have liked.

No slippers in the room apparently I was told you don't supply them anymore...When I request a wake up call I didn't have one apparently they forgot registered it on the computer ...No porridge for breakfast and I was told that they run out couple of days ago ..The staff was very professional and apologetic ...

One lift was out of action whilst we were there. Meant there was a longer wait for the remaining lift.

Good breakfast, liked that chef available to make poached eggs etc. However only one person serving who seemed a bit rushed off their feet.

In room 302 / 304 the windows were not able to close as no handle on window to shut them so this also increased the noise level in room. Had reported to reception on check out. On checking in long que waiting to check in. It took someone in the line to ask if they could get someone else to help.

Bedroom was big, decorate nice and reception and breakfast was nicely decorated and food was delicious. Staff were great. Great location

Inside room windows- so no fresh air. Rooms window went into food court which was noisy and lights on all night and room curtains weren’t fully blackout.Piano outside which people could play which also was noisy. Bed was very uncomfortable.Bathroom needs revamp as was dates and dirty grout.

Carpet was thread bear in areas,Heating was broken room was red hot, with no real windows to open?Taps in the shower had gaping holes were fittings was,Sink tap broken brokenOnly 1 bath towel and 1 hand towel in the twin room, shower temperature was unstable went from a nice temperature to red hot to freezing cold,Room lighting, very darkCorridor lights not working at that end of the corridor, room 312I booked my room, months before the brake, friends booked last minute and there room was £30 a night cheapen than my room,Complained to the stuff that the cleaner didn’t fetch any toilet roll we needed a fan because the room was so hot and we needed another mug because we only had one mug in the room, Staff on reception said they would do that, when we got back, none of it was done, and didn’t arrive before we checked out.

It was near to lots of different places to eat and shop

There wasn’t a fridge or mini bar in the room. There was a 24/7 maroon service menu, but when we went to order something to eat about midnight we were told the service wasn’t available and we could order from Just Eat and have it delivered to the reception!

Lovely lady on reception upgraded my stay has it was my birthday, Got to say the room was beautiful and spotlessly clean. Hotel right in the heart of leeds centre perfect location and parking.

The lobby area of the hotel was so cold the hot food was freezing. The fresh tomotos looked like they had been sat there all day. No bread left and no butter replenished for ages. Chef took so long making eggs the already plate of cold food was inedible. Freezing cold hotel. Building site on our floor. Leaky toilet. Rude staff and not enough staff.
