    • Super clean & modern, rooms are beautiful especially for the price! Staff so lovely and friendly

    Cons -

    • Road noise
    • The room above me were having a screaming match till 3am in the morning. I called and complained but nothing came of it. They were still going. I did not get much sleep at all. When it was time to check out I told the staff and all they did was say they aren’t sure what happened and gave me a refund of my early check in of £25. Considering I paid £120 for the room and didn’t get any sleep I don’t think that was good enough personally.

The hotel is gorgeous, beautiful renovations. Great locations for city centre. We were also saved a disabled parking bay in their carpark which we were very grateful for. The little extras in the room such as crisps and drinks were nice. Two of the female reception staff were lovely.

The noise in the bedroom from outside was horrendous. Buses stop right outside, you can hear everything. We were right at the front of the hotel. We had to ask for earplugs to get any sleep. We were sent 1 packet between the two of us. The sash windows look beautiful but they do nothing to prevent noise. This was a monday/Tuesday night, not weekend. Our shower was backing up to the point of serious overflow and we reported it to reception ASAP. It still wasn't fixed by the time we left. Breakfast time was miserable. The staff all seemed fed up and irritated. Vegetarian breakfast is on the a la carte breakfast menu, I ordered it. To be told the veggie sausages would come out when ready. The rest was to be taken from the buffet area, sausages arrived about 20 minutes after I had finished. The sad thing is apart from the windows and noise a lot of the issues are fixable. We have fed this all back to the hotel on check out.

Very comfortable bed and great to be able to open windows for fresh air in the room. Nice offer of snacks and drinks in the room.

Breakfast wasn't good. Very basic items on offer, mostly cheap/poor quality. They were serving pastries in the lobby for a meeting, while none were offered for breakfast. I wouldn't bother with breakfast here.

The hotel was clean located perfectly

Told to ring about parking when I was 5 mins away which I did for 15 mins with no answer to then get there he said yes there's a space told me where to go but he didn't mention the charges of £20 a night total £40 as we stayed 2 nights until after I had parked car I rang previous day and wasn't told about charged then either needs to be added to the booking that there is a charge is any spaces are available ...

Location, great, value for money exceptional Sunday deal, breakfast very good, would recommend to my network to stay there. complimentary crisps etc.. in the room a nice touch, loved the fact you have refurbished and have carpeted rooms and stairways - feels luxury over practicality

we were very happy, only minor thing was it was touch and go to get the shower temperature right it was very hot

Great room, lovely decor and superb breakfast.

    10SaraPosted on: 2-17-2026

The room was gorgeous, any requests were listened to and the staff was very friendly. The hotel itself is newly refurbished and it looks stunning. The bar staff is friendly and the rooms look gorgeous; close enough to all other city bars, attractions etc

Everything was great there was no issues.

Recent refurbish, hotel is lovely, location really good too.

The only negative was our room windows could do with sound proofing. Was woken by emptying recycling glass bins.

    9JustinePosted on: 2-15-2026

Lovely renovated hotel, very comfortable. I had a couple of issues which were resolved promptly.

The one lift is very slow and kept showing F so you couldn’t tell how long you had to wait. Fire alarm went off in the night. Quite noisy outside due to single glazed windows.

    9EmmaPosted on: 2-15-2026

Lovely, clean, fresh and helpful staff

    The hotel bar is extortionate.

    10SarahPosted on: 2-15-2026

    9SajPosted on: 2-15-2026

Excellent value for money. Location is brilliant.

The lift was showing F sign, which caused some concern. The coffe machine during breakfast wasnt working.

    7NmPosted on: 2-14-2026

Well refurbished, 100x better than the last time I stayed. Very clean and functional room. Bathroom, bed, heating, air conditioning were great.

There was a minor leak from the room above

    8SarahPosted on: 2-14-2026

The room was comfortable, the bathroom and shower was amazing and the tv was huge. There were a few issues, but the overall stay was good

During my stay, the fire alarm went off at around 1AM with no explanation for the incident, also, when I booked late checkout, someone came into our room about 1pm when me and my partner were in a compromised position.

    10AngelaPosted on: 2-14-2026

Cosy, well lit (makeup!), lots of well placed power points, great quality coffees, teas, snacks - real.milk! Shower - excellent. Fluffy, think towels.

A little cold, despite turning thermostat up, but generally prefer a cool room.Poor quality veggie sausages. 1 member of hospitality team (eve function really bad body odour- srnditive topic but when something is so obvious, it should be dealt with when staff are customer facing.
