Good size room, clean, only negative Unfortunately beds are not the most comfortable only complaint.

Staff were not very helpful, noisy guests and a strong smell of weed. The TV in my room switched on but couldn't tune into any channels or the internet. The restaurant only had a roast to offer and after seeing another guest's plate I got a taken away instead. I won't be staying there again.

The gymn and pool area were spacious and well equipped, with pool warm. I had the buffet evening meal which had some choice and was excellent value. Room was cosy and bed comfortable.

It was all good.

The evening meal was one of the worst meals I’ve ever had. Dinner consisted of reheated frozen food.The whole hotel is very tired and in need of renovation.The pool changing rooms, pool and gym and very tired and run down. The gym equipment is very old dated and some machines broken.

Comfortable bed , clean room, value for money.

Staff were not welcoming, not even a smile, our toilet was smelling a sewage throughout our stay.

Hotel is tired, bar is poorly stocked, orange juice at breakfast tasted watered down and only Nescafé sachets available for coffee.

The food staff everything great can not fault . swimming pool and sauna .steam room and whirlpool ?? all fantastic

They need to sell bar food and include pool and spa

I specifically asked for ground floor because of my disability. I had a text from you saying it's granted. When got there.there gave our room with stairs.i didn't even bother to go to the room. Went back to reception they said you never send the. The specifications. But did give us a room with lift.by this time I am fuming with anxiety and mental health. Food was rubbish.. room was good.bad

Reception staff unhelpful. Water at reception was not replenished when requested. Not enough staff in the restaurant. Tables were not cleared so were not usable. Only one member of staff at the bar hence ridiculous queues.General staff attitude and competencies very poor.

Lovely room, great gardens. Comfortable chairs in bar areas. Breakfast very good, lots of variety.

Reception staff (female)on arrival not welcoming/pleasant, later in the day male staff very helpful, courteous. Bar staff next to useless. Toilet floor looked dirty.

Nice grounds, good location for heading north.

Bar was closed at 8 pm?Restaurant only had beef hotpot available.

The staff didn’t seem particularly happy to be there.The bar wasn’t open . The gym and spa don’t open until 9am on the weekend ?? Most people want to use the gym early , what a ridiculous thing that is . And while we’re on the subject of ridiculous, breakfast ( not served until 8am … and breakfast was utterly budget and not worth £9.99, no water available, no yoghurt available,very poor quality food .The room was sooooo tired . Dirty carpets , the radiator was noisy but we then realised it didn’t work so the room was cold . We then found a plug in electrical heater. The plug sockets won’t take a uk plug by the bedside tables which meant personal phones had to be plugged in on the other side of the room . There were splashes of God knows what fluids over the walls , cupboards and radiator. Absolutely rank.

Beautiful grounds

Unfortunately it felt like the hotel wasn’t being maintained very well. One of the rooms we were in had no cold water for instance and this didn’t her sorted all weekend

Was a business trip so didn't get to explore much ..The grounds looked beautiful ..The hotel in general was lovely ..Staff very polite and helpful

Rooms was very basic,about dated ..old fashioned and the fact there was no fridge in room and tap water was awful and warm was not good at all

Sink very slow to drain. Assume the plug in the bath also fitted the sink but only found it afterwards
