Rowton Poplars Hotel

Very happy and helpful staff. Food great.

Needed bedside table either side of bed, only one supplied.

The staff is friendly and helpful

There are no seals on the windows and it is constantly blowing cold, the towels are very small

Room and bed was comfortable

Road noise was ok but trucks driving past made the room shake, to the point that it woke me up throughout the night

Good location, we had a lovely walk along the canal nearby. A good view of horses from our room.Excellent meals, and good service.Cosy bar and dining area, especially in the evening.

Our room was up 2 flights of steep stairs. We weren't told we could ask for a hair dryer, as there wasn't one in the room.

Room was excellent, but extremely hot. So didn’t sleep well.

good food, staff very friendly and welcoming and room was organised and clean

room being right next to pub toilets

It was easy to reach Chester Comfortable and friendly Good food

From the moment we walked in the staff were so friendly nothing was to much trouble We had a couple of drinks and food before we checked into our room When we got to the room it was lovely and clean and comfy Unfortunately I was unwell in the morning so couldn't stop to have breakfast which I was looking forward to, but next time we will definitely stay again thank you paul who greated us lovely and friendly guy

Had a few nights stay while working in the area comfy bed cosy room and great food much appreciated will stay again if back in the area thanks

Loved the fancy towel & toilet roll presentations.

Not really a 'dislike' as much as a comment, the room was small, with good use of space but with no room for a 2nd bedside table

Always love the food here. It’s homemade and extremely good quality and value. The location and parking is great and beds were very comfortable.

The room was fine but the tv, tea and coffee station were placed under a low part of the ceiling so I did catch my head initially trying to make a cup of tea. Moved the tea tray to near the door to stop it happening.

The staff, location, food and overall value

Very accommodating staff. I arrived late and they arranged a meet and greet with the key handover.

The road can be heard from one of the rooms.

Clean room, nice staff

Cold and only plug in radiators. Shower tiny over bath

Very clean, comfortable stay. Everything you need in one place. The staff are unbelievably friendly and the vegetarian breakfast was probably up there with the best I’ve had. 10/10.

The room was spacious, clean and very comfortable.Staff friendly and helpful.Attention to detail such as the towels and toiletries were lovely.

Liked everything, wish I could've stayed longer.

Well cooked , well presented and via quality ingredients.

All good

Another lovely stay here. The staff are excellent and the rooms are very comfortable there was an issue with heating this time bit Paul sorted it out straight away and got us an electric heater

Can be slightly noisey at night people walking round and talking but when everyone’s asleep it’s perfect

Room was clean .washing facilities very good. The only problem we had was the people in the room above walking

Very clean, good facilities good bed, handy near to Chester, good tea and coffee facilities, would stay again thanks
