- Good but limited
- From the front it looked very small but it was like the tardis with a nice bar and outside seating area.
- Love the decor. Very hospitable team. Lovely comfortable ambience. Great rooms, comfy modern space. Felt safe for solo stay. Great breakfast and dining space. Lovely bar and wine choices. Great location, easy for trains, buses or taxi. Close to all the attractions, shopping, bars and restaurants and a Tesco extra store. 5 minute walk to the River DEE with more dining and bars walking distance to rIver dee, more bars and restaurent choices, Walking distance to Theatre and Cathedral, bars and dining, market and shopping scene.
Cons -
- No continental offerings ie fruit, cereals, toast croissants etc
- I liked everything ....
- One of the end suite showers was out of order. This wasn't notified at check in, and whilst not a huge issue, it was mildly inconvenient this morning (having paid for a 2 x bed, 2 x bathroom with showers then thats what i expected).

The staff were so helpful and friendly. Perfect location. Very dog friendly. Quirky but beautiful decor.
Friendly staff, great food, fab cocktails and good nights sleep. Enjoyed ourselves so much sunday lunch turned into great night of laughs and cocktails. Love visiting Oddfellows
Short walk to the centre. Car parking space.Comfortable beds, clean, facilities as expected

Made to feel special on my birthday Comfy beds Lovely room
If I was to be picky, few stains on the carpet and a little mold in the shower - but didn't affect our stay
Loved the design and feel. Friendly staff and breakfast was great
Mattress was old needed replacing quite uncomfortable, couldn't turn the heating down and the radiator in the bathroom hummed, keeping me awake.I also struggled with the toilet, shower room not being properly behind a closed door
The extras in the room coffee machine, DAB radio, DVD player, were unexpected and way better equipped than other hotels. No noise for the elsewhere in the building. Central location was ideal.
breakfast at 8am was to late, and the staff on breakfast (some days)were not very attentive , other days could not fault
I like the welcome when we came through the door and service was brilliant and nothing was too much.
Only thing was the steeped stairs for my nan going through chemotherapy and an older dog who had arthritis but that was my fault for not checking or to asked for downstairs. Lastly with being deaf and hard of hearing, I would love to stay again with nan next month but I would need subtitles on the TV as only the volume and channel button worked.
Amazing staff - fab location - very dog friendly
Little dated ,
Absolutely fantastic apartment, HUGE!! Staff were exceptional, I had a couple of requests before arrival & they were more than obliging. Heating was on in the apartment when we arrived, it was such a cold & bitter day this was really appreciated.
Everything was perfect
Great location, friendly staff
Cashless which i think is wrong Noisy generator could be heard from room at night
Fabulous 3 bed, 3 bathroom apartment. Well equipped and homely. So much nicer than having multiple hotel rooms for a night away with friends or family. Very easy access to Chester. Great find and will definitely be back.
Parking spaces would potentially be a little tight if all apartments occupied. Access slope on exit difficult as too steep where it joins the road and catches the bottom of the car.
Quirky design of hotel staff are amazing so helpful and friendly
Poor TV reception
We stayed in apartment number 4 which was huge, it had a great living space, two large double en-suite bedrooms and a fully equipped kitchen. We received an amazing welcome from Izzy who continued to look after all of us so well as a group of 4 couples who were all spending NY there, we really couldn't have been treated better. All the different meals we had were excellent, the entertainment on NY itself was fabulous and a really friendly party vibe with a great DJ, and we received such good service it made the evening so special we all couldn't thank the hotel and staff enough - we will all be back in 2026 guaranteed!
Nothing - everything was excellent
Great location, lovely quirky room. Very clean
I had a great stay at Oddfellows in Chester. The staff were very helpful and went the extra mile to help make my girlfriend’s birthday special. Their friendliness and effort really made a difference. I’d definitely recommend staying here. Thank you so much!
That i never booked for another day. No complaints in any department.
Loved this quirky hotel, lovely warm welcome. Really central for Chester. The amazing breakfast freshly cooked and the discounted car park. We loved the roll top bath in the bedroom great for a good soak after long day walking.will definitely be back.
Everything fab
The hotel was in a great location, just a few skips and you in the town centre. The team at the hotel were super friendly and really made us feel welcome. Our room was gorgeous with a huge free standing bath.It was New years eve, the hotel bar was lively with a DJ on. Some great tunes with a blast from the past! Loved it!
