Maingau Hotel

Very clean, very helpful staff, comfortable bed, excellent location for touring. This was our third time at this hotel, and it continues to exceed our expectations.

Great location, very quiet except for Saturday night revelers and nearby construction. Staff kindly allowed early check-in because our international flight arrived early. Complimentary bottled water & sweets in the room upon arrival. Nice view of park.

Very limited amenities (no coffee in room), no English signage, Wifi access problem took three staff contacts to resolve, no information in room about hotel services or operation of equipment. Hotel brochure said rooms included minibar - there was none.

Too many stairs before you get to the elevator from reception, then some more stairs from the elevator to the room. Staff were really nice, they helped with the first block of stairs the first day.

Staff was very friendly! Great location and able to walk over the bridge to Romberg square. Close to Christmas markets!

I contacted both Booking.com and the property, but they refused to refund my money. Be careful—this false promotion feels like a bait.

All good, good and very polite service, as you would expect. Breakfast was also good, the selection was decent, even if not expansive. Close to Frankfurt Süd train station.

It was convenient to downtown. The rooms were very clean and cozy. The only downside would be the showers. A little awkward for some.

The showers a little awkward. I wish the restaurant was open for lunch/dinner but not negative reflect on the hotel or our stay.

A nice hotel about 10 minutes walk from the Old Town and Christmas Markets. The room was okay if a bit small and breakfast was good with plenty of choice. There was a drinks machine in the lobby for hot drinks which was nice on a cold day rather than a kettle in the room. Staff were friendly and helpful. There were restaurants and bars close by too.

As mentioned, the room was small and there was no space for smaller items of clothing that couldn’t hang in a wardrobe. A couple of drawers would have helped. The bathroom had an unfortunate sewer smell coming from the shower drain which was only diminished by keeping the extractor fan running all the time. We didn’t use room cleaning service but perhaps having the bathroom cleaned daily would help reduce the smell.

The room size is a little challenging.

Breakfast was way better than expected and the room was cozy, quiet and warm. The staff was friendly and the neighborhood fantastic! Will return next time I'm in Frankfurt.

The staff was helpful, the room was comfortable

When traveling I always check to verify the hotel has an elevator because I am an 84 year old female and walking up a full flight of stairs with luggage is difficult for me. The website indicated this hotel had an elevator. It neglected to say that in order to reach the elevator you had to walk up a full flight of stairs, walk down a long hallway, go down 6 more stairs, take the elevator to your floor and then walk up 5 more stairs. In my opinion this is inaccurate or at the least incomplete information. I was very appreciative of the staff because they carried my luggage both to and from my room. But I still had to climb flights of stairs each time I left my room and again when returning to my room.

Very good location, clean, polite staff. Was convenient to use opportunity to leave luggage after check out.

It was not cheap and let’s say no shampoo and no conditioner for hair wash! I was expecting that such a basic things are available. No coffee machine or tea available in the room. Nevertheless, you can ask for a kettle in reception and kind staff will give it to you. Very thin walls, we could hear how neighbour is taking shower

we had a larger room this stay and it was very comfortable with an easy to use shower, location, breakfast was very nice, and staff friendly and helpful.

Everything for me as a businessman was good.It's a limited, optional hotel.BUT what made my stay as pleasant was Mr. FRANC, also Mr. NADEEM.Mr Franc answered all my inquiries in the most friendly possible way. An adorable person can't always be met in this region. Miss him
