Carlton Hotel

Nothing.it was horrible. No proper cleanliness, elevator was not working Noise at night due to fights in the corridor.it was so disturbing that we couldn’t sleep the night and left immediately next day morning.so basically we booked the hotel for 2 days but we stayed only one day and left.we did complained at the reception the next day, but what we got in return is just a pen as a token of apology.so i request you to refund my money as we paid a lot inspite of being student.

Location, AC/heater,

It smelled like cigarettes smoking,No visitors allowed WiFi signal was weak, and intermittent I notified the staffI told staff not to come in into my room because there was no need for cleaning Shower entry was narrow

T.v wasn't connected, internet was going for me . The bed pillow wasn't so clean

Horrible area to stay. I was very disapointed to viste Frankfurt. We didnt leave the hotel when got dark. The streets were full of people injecting themselves , open market for sellling drugs was sca4ing to put my boy thorugh that.

Good location near central station and reasonable room fee, almost no problem to stay in the room and eat breakfast at the restaurant

It seems not finished yet to clean up in the toilet & bathroom when I checked-in the room. Because the toilet paper was almost finished and the cover of soap box was opened.  There are a few choices for warm cooking (omlet, beans sauce, and soup). It is better to serve more like bacon, sausages, potato...

The location was central to the city and near transportation. Great value for money. Excellent shower.!!!

Center location, very near to Hbf.

I don't know why in reception we have to submit the room key even for 10 minutes going outside. cockroaches i found multiple times.WC clean water flush.. it's horrible. after flush it did not go... I am sure you must push the waste with brush multiple times.It happened everytime.Even windows closed loud noise on Friday night.

Staff was super friendly, room was appropiately large considering the price. Location very close to public transport and a Supermarket.

The floor in the room was partially bloated and when I arrived there was a small puddle of fluid (water?). The bathroom door looked as if somone had tried to punch a hole through it. One of the three bulbs in the main light was just missing. Sheets had little holes in them. Rooms were not allowed visitors, but nobody told that to the silverfish in the bathroom. Alleged smokers' area was basically the streetwalk in front of the hotel (No extra ashtray, so you have to look for a garbage can if you don't want to throw your stubs on the street). Breakfast very minimally, not worth the extra payment. No safe in the room, If you want your valuables to be "safe" you need to deposit them at the reception. Also the surrounding area is very dirty and there are almost always some shady people hanging around (maybe because to the closeness to the railway station) - personally I felt rather uncomfortable around those parts of the city.

Though it’s close to the HBF, the street is filled with drunks.

Lift is too narrow. Poor internet. No cleanliness.

The location (for what I needed to do) was great, I liked the secure, underground parking and the staff were unfailingly helpful. The beds were comfortable and the overall presentation of the room was fine - clean and tidy (though see note in "didn't likes" re bathroom.

The reason I marked it down on location, although it was within 1km of the City entrance of the Messe (where I was working), was because the bar / club around the corner was playing VERY loud dance music until around 0400 the first night I stayed and 0630 the second. In the absence of air-con it was necessary to sleep with the windows open so even the small amount of soundproofing they'd have provided, was denied me.No air con when daytime temps were 30 deg C plus (and night time, not much cooler) definitely a minus.Bathroom probably needed a more thorough clean - the last guest's bath towel was still on the rail when I arrived which made me wonder about the standard of the other cleaning ...

The staff is very friendly; I wish the room quality were better.

The room that I stayed in was very outdated. At a similar price, I could get a better room around that area.

I don’t understand the awful reviews because I had such a pleasant experience. The receptionist was very kind and helpful. The housekeeper in the next morning gave us more time to get ready and to check out . The bed was large enough for 2 people , the bedding was white clean . The bathroom was perfect . I will definitel be back

I didn’t like Nothing tbh just the fact that it’s somewhere near the Main station but it’s literally one of the most unserious hotels at the area because nothing made sense instead of writing all infos somewhere the receptionist had to wait to let the costumers come from a far way and then get told certain things are not possible no answers when texting

It's close to the main train station, which is what we wanted. I suggest to ask for a room that's not next to the street, so you'll have it quiet.

Need renovation asap, paint is coming of the walls, the bathroom smells weird, incapable staff, got ringed out of bed at 1AM from reception. Obviously the are where it is located is VERY sketchy, but that's not their fault. Just be aware of this when booking.

Proximity to City centre and vaious tourist places.

Room was smelling of weed and Cigarette. Staff needs to check the room prior to new guest handover.

It stinks overall, no Security outside, staff was not welcoming, outside was super lauf the whole night
