Motel Frankfurt

Staff friendliness, good WiFi, free packing, good breakfast

Motel Frankfurt was very easy to access by train from the airport and only 10 mins walk away from where we needed to be so location was key for us. The staff were all very pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was very good with plenty of choices - we had been a bit worried about breakfast as we were there on the final day before the hotel closed for their Christmas break but we need not have worried.The hotel is close to shops and restaurants and cafes and about a 30 minute walk down into Frankfurt town centre or a quick ride on the very frequent metro which has a stop practically outside the hotel. The room we had was rather dated but everything was clean and worked as it should and as it was only for one night it was no real problem for us. We had a good night's sleep and the surroundings were quiet and secure.

The hotel was not as modern as others but was still perfectly adequate for what we needed it for.

Easy to get to and from airport... Walking distance to all you need...The staff here from front desk to housekeeping to breakfast room exceptionally kind and professional...

That I couldn't stay longer!!

The motel is well-located in the northern extension of Frankfurt's inner city.It is easily accessible from the Autobahn as well as the metro and is easily walkable. If you have 40 minutes, you can have a nice stroll in a quiet area to the inner city.The breakfast was as expected, consisting of cold cuts, scrambled eggs, and cereals. Overall, satisfying :)

The motel was built some time ago, and its interior reflects this. It has its charm, but it is not on par with inner city hotels. Keep that in mind.Also, I found the beds way too soft. It does not provide sufficient support for my back, and I was struggling for a week or so to avoid my back pain from getting worse. So, if you are an average person who sits a lot, be aware that you want to be careful.Finally, the outside of the motel leads to a long, elongated park with seating benches. If you're staying over the weekend, there might be youths and juveniles who gather there. And if you stay on ground level, it can be a bit frightening at night.

Pleasant

Arrived in November. No heating. Cold

The breakfast was nice, and the staff at the restaurant really friendly. I was attending a conference and it was fairly close to the venue.

Probably because of the summer heat, the room lock was a bit hard to handle, but the staff helped out and showed how to open the door, so in the end it was all good!

The location was oppositie to the metro stop. The bedroom was tidy, as was the bedding. The room rate included a parking space.

The bathroom had dirty limescale marks around the shower. The floor behind the front door of the motel room had visible water damage. The breakfast room and its terrace did not look particularly appealing.

Quite old furniture and uncomfortable bed. No tea kettle in the room.

Price-wise there are lots of better hotels but with free large parking space in a busy city like Frankfurt where parking garages are expensive or hard to find oneQuiet locationNear u-bahnFree parking space

The crib provided had hair on it so I needed to double check if there are other hair or dirt.No elevator - kind of hassle when u have a baby but still not so bad

Great location for a short tram journey into Frankfurt. Loads of free parking, very quiet and super-comfy beds. Also a cracking shower!

Great value for money, clean, polite and efficient staff. The only disadvantage I can think of is that the WiFi is a bit spotty at times.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was basic but clean.It would have been nice to have a kettle in the roomto make hot drinks and a bottle of water as a welcome drink! Overall our stay was good.
