Ibis Frankfurt Centrum Hotel

Glad breakfast opened at 6:30 am as we had an early flight. Breakfast has an excellent variety of foods. The hotel breakfast was better than many other hotels that we have stayed at.

The room was very small--but not unusual for Europe. The room was well designed and it really served us well for our two nights.

The breakfast was ok.

The first room had a bathroom sink, when we entered the room it was full of water. so either no one cleaned the room or they just didn't care. So the poor reception, which was alone all night, had to change are room after long wait The mattress on the beds where really bad, as if the were really old. And there is nothing in the rooms except some hand, hair, body soap that when you washed your hand, head or body it hearted and became dried as if there is a industrial cleaner in it.

The hotel is located just about 10 minutes from the Hauptbahnhof and right next to the Main River, where you can enjoy a peaceful walk with easy access to the city’s main attractions like Römer, the Cathedral, and other beautiful places. The area is very calm and also convenient for shopping — you can reach stores on foot, and there are two metro stations just about 3 minutes away.On my first night, the air conditioner in my room wasn’t working properly. I informed the staff, and since it was already midnight, they couldn’t fix it immediately but brought me an extra blanket. The next morning, at around 8 a.m., Ms. Alexandra kindly offered me a larger room with a bigger bed on a higher floor, which was excellent. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay and would definitely recommend this hotel.

As I checked, the breakfast became noticeably simpler during my stay and lacked variety — it was very basic and repeated almost daily. The hotel does not provide any sanitary kit or slippers.The bathroom is surprisingly small.

There was just the kind of service that I like. It was comfortable clean and not a lot of fuss. Easy location, close to the train station.

Nothing I really disliked about it. It meant my needs and it meant my expectations.

No supply of toiletries, aircon is not working, no exhaust fans in the toilet

Near to main Train station. The staff was very helpful and nice.

I could listen neighbors guests during night and there was kind of light bad smell in the bed, it was only in one room and was very light so we ignored it.

Very comfortable room; staff were very friendly; good breakfast provided. Very good location near the river, providing a pleasant walk towards the Frankfurt Old Town, albeit quite a distance, but good views along the way, plus opportunities to vary your route if you are walking to attractions and eating places. Not too far from the main train station and gives you a quieter more relaxed location to stay than if you stayed any closer to the main station. Trams are not far away, but I did not use any, so can't comment on them. If you stay in Frankfurt, I highly recommend taking a booked walking tour - there is more to Frankfurt than you initially think. The hotel kindly looked after my luggage after check-out as a I had a full day to wait for my flight home; this service was very much appreciated.

The hotel was very comfortable, so no comment here.

first time choose ibis but disappointment

i have breakfast on june 24 2025, and the cleaning staff smeared all the bread crumbs on the floor. in fact, i saw the staff doing the same thing 2 days ago. I had breakfast in the hotel cos to leave the country. and nobody refill the food until i asked someone to fill what i want.

Good room size for 3 pax. Ample storage in the cupboards for your items. Beds were comfortable.

The door lock could use an upgrade. The bed for the 3rd pax is a PVC day bed which is hard. Please consider layering it with a mattress.

Breakfast was great. I like croissant, bread and cheese provided.

Great location, short walk from the train station but felt like a world away with the proximity to the river. Great view. Room comfortable with lots of light and air. Solid breakfast with lots of choice.

The location was OK, and the neighbourhood seemed to be safe.

It was hard to imagine junior suite room without a lift access - very disappointing as we had to carry all the heavy luggages down the stairs to the room. The shower room was also quite small. Also, some staff members at the front desk were very unfriendly. At first, they couldn't find my reservation details (even though I showed my booking numbers), so I had to wait for quite a while until they serve others.

Very good European style buffet with the usual mix of meats, cheese, cakes, granola & yogurt. 2 coffee machines and both were working!

I was very frustrated with the staff. I spoke with the front desk on Saturday and advised I had an early morning flight the next day. I specifically asked if coffee was available at 0530. "Oh yes, coffee is available 24 x 7 and my colleague would be happy to help you in the morning" was the response. Sunday morning I checked out of my room at 0545 and asked for coffee before my cab to the airport. The Gentleman at the front desk proceeded to give me an elaborate song and dance that it was Sunday, peaked into the breakfast room, and advised no coffee available - sorry! No coffee service in the room - no coffee in the lobby - not what I expect from the Accor hotel group.

A basic hotel with everything you need for a short stay in Frankfurt. Very helpful staff, and I liked that the breakfast also included fresh vegetables and fruits.

It's a decent hotel. When I got in the room- the sofa bed was broken. And... it wasn't all that clean. The floor was pretty dirty. It's a challenge to get to the parking garage if youre driving- and very limited parking on the street. 20 euro per night for the garage. All stairs from the garage to the check I'm counter.The breakfast is 17 euro- but it was good.
