Hotel Ladage

No frills, no nonsense, family run hotel in a suburb of Frankfurt. Limited breakfast option for a reasonable price. Not a place to stay to further your vacation, but a quite night's sleep in a superb location relative to the Frankfurt airport.

Hostess are good who are very helpful and disciplined. But they are strict, they can not provide solution for problem.

It's completely closed, There is no space for air. It's harmful for old people & who are facing breathing problem in Night. Due to not passing air from any side, feeling hot......

Very friendly and helpful. I like walking and using public transportation which was readily available. The bus takes you straight to terminal one at the Frankfurt Airport.

They closed their outside seating area by 5:30pm. Plus the inside seating area was closed except for breakfast. During the heat wave the best area was the shaded outside seating area which had a nice breeze every day.

The staff were very helpful and reliable.

The place is in a residential area and is a bit isolated, difficult to find restaurants etc.

The building doesn't have elevator so difficult to take the big luggages upstairs.

Breakfast is excellent for its price. The hotel is very clean and well maintained.

The shared toilet and shower are not enough for all guests. Sometimes if anyone else is in the toilet it smells very bad and you cant even get in to have a shower.

Perfect location for rest between flights. From terminal 2 take the bus line 62 to Schwanheim (every 30min). Exit Stop Kelsterbacher Weg. Then 2 minutes walk in the same direction to the Hotel. Same bus stop and direction to the airport. Late check in is handled via onsite safe and code. Host is polite, communicative and gave me all informations about my stay and surroundings. Room is spotlessly clean, bed/pillow something that tired traveller can wish for. Bed linen is clean and smells nice. Shared toilet and shower also clean. WiFi is ok, few TV channels on english. Pizza restaurant is nearby but closed when I arrived so buy something before in case of late checkin. Tourist fee is charged for stay.

For my one night stay didn't notice anything that bothers me

The rooms were exactly as shown on the website. Perfectly spacious and priced for a solo-traveler looking for a bit of alone time out of a hostel environment. The beds were comfortable and the couple running the establishment were caring and understanding of all needs. They were very attentive and gave great advice in terms of what to do in the area and resources that one may need (like a doctor!). As a woman I felt incredibly safe in the neighborhood walking alone at night and no one in the hotel made me feel uncomfortable.

The location is not ideal if you are looking to do a bunch of touristy activities in Frankfurt. The city isn't a walkable distance at all, however, it is manageable to get there with a 45 minute bahn/bus trek. There's also a bus stop a short walk from the hotel which is very convenient.

Fantastic hosts, spotless property, and ideal airport location. The owner even booked a taxi for my departure - a thoughtful touch!

There was nothing to not like.

Close to the airport of Frankfurt and to the Industriepark Höchst. Lovely place, kind host, clean. It was a nice place to stay.

Everything - comfort, cleanliness, location, staff. It is very easy to get to and from both the airport and city via bus and tram. I will book with them again when I come to Frankfurt.

There was nothing not to like.

the location was ecceptional and staf was great! The hotel is in a quiet area close to pubblic transportation. room was clean and breakfast was with good selection very good value for the money, will stay again!

You don't have access to things

Hotel Ladage is a small hotel in a nice leafy suburb. It is very convenient for Frankfurt airport and makes a nice, and cheaper, change from conventional airport hotels.

The hotel only gives access to their WiFi password via a QR code! This is crazy and should be changed immediately as a basic courtesy to guests. People use hotel WiFi either because they don’t have, or choose not to use (e.g. cost), mobile data. I had to incur a one day roaming charge for the few seconds it took me to scan the QR code and receive the word/number combination which could have simply been printed (as it is everywhere else).
