Pearl Design Hotel - Frankfurt City

We had a very comfortable stay in this hotel! It's situated about 10 minutes from the train, and about 20 minutes from Römerberg. There were plenty of small restaurants and a few coffee shops/bakeries close by.

Nothing, worst “hotel” I have ever visited in Europe.

Hotel room smells like someone just smoked crack. The smoke alarm was disabled, found a used lighter in the window. No air-conditioning, and everything is dusty and musty. The carpet has blood stains, and there is black mold everywhere. The bed had stains, and was not clean (found multiple hairs in the bed. Told the guy in reception, but he said the room was “clean”, even when showing video evidence. Refused to refund us, and we had no where to go arrived late in the night. We had to sleep in our clothing without blankets, because of the filthy bed sheets.Worst experience of our lives. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

great place if you are traveling to the exhibition fair. I walked to the exhibition in 15 minutes, since I arrived by car I avoided the inconvenience of parking around the exhibition. I didn't use restaurant, I can't rate , my room was clean .. nothing special

The soundproofing in my room was poor, which meant I had to wake up twice in one night because someone in the neighborhood was using the toilet or dropped something on the floor...which made me feel a bit sleepy the next day.Parking 20 euro per day, I think this info have to be on written

The hotel is very close to the train station, which was extremely convenient. The room was well designed, with well-placed switch points, doors, and cupboards. The bathroom was clean and well equipped with towels, shampoo, and tissues, and I felt safe and comfortable as a solo female traveler.

The staff provided the necessary information when asked, but they could have been more welcoming. I did not try the food, so I cannot comment on that. Overall, there were no major issues, just small improvements needed in hospitality.

Location is close to train station. And is relatively cheap.

Room was not the same as the one I booked. Room smelled like cigarette. Toilet was not fully cleaned and had a weird smell. Air conditioner was not clean. Plastic cards for room entry did not work for 3 persons in our group and had to go down and get a new card or a key to enter the room.

Minibar was weak

The recieptionist was very decent and kind man. the room size was suitable.

The room was not clean, a large dark stains on the carpet, dust everywhere, and the fridge was not working. Overrated for a 3-star hotel.

The breakfast was good. The most valuable is the professionalism and kindness of the reception staff ready to help at any time. The price is very good, and the location, comfort and tranquility is very appreciated. If I come back will choose this hotel again for sure.

The price of the breakfast is a little high for the buffet offered, in comparison to other hotels in Germany, I think.

Then they gave us another room which was smelly, the walls were full of stains like something was splashed on them, there was black mold in the bathroom which was filthy anyway, the seat of the wc was supposed to be white but it actually was dirty with a few coats of yellow on it. The shower was looking bad and dirty itself. The room looked dated, not what we were expecting when we saw it online. Not happy at all, when we saw it we wanted to go and look for another hotel but it was late after midnight.

We liked the location to the train station, a grocery store nearby, and the river walk to the old section of Frankfurt. The hotel was quiet, provided a hair dryer, and had an elevator. The beds were pretty comfortable, and the shower was nice.

The staff was very attentive and helpful in obtaining me a room with their advertised amenities. The first two rooms had broken a/c and or mini fridges. They found me a working room and I appreciate their effort.

Non-working amenities that were advertised. In 6 days, I found 5 small black ants in various locations. They just need to spray again. It wasn't a full blown infestation. Carpets in rooms need updating.

Ants in my room.If I put clothes on the floor, I would have to shake the ants out afterwards.This was on the 1st floor, maybe it's better further up.Refrigerator didn't work.
