- What a bait and switch marketing ad from booking.com and this hotel. The room was nothing like any of the photos. It was a complete dump that smelt musty and so much smoke, let alone the smoke detector taken off the ceiling laying on a side table. I have been travelling all abound Europe for the past month and nothing compared to this place. I'm more upset that they are misleading customers on what they are booking. I have reached out to the manager to request a further discussion on the room and our booking but no reply yet. Not to mention the room was on the top floor with skylights and they had a roof contractor on the roof at 7am. Lovely wake up to a guy staring down at you through the skylight windows. No notice and no privacy for guests. Still waiting to discuss our stay and I welcome the hotel to reply back to me to discuss further. Photos attached of their advertising and what you actually get.
- Because we didn't have air-conditioned, we had to sleep with windows open and early in the morning was really noisy.
- Bed and floor with steep stairs (no lift)

Staff and location
Bed and floor with steep stairs (no lift)
It's close to Metro/Train stations, plus people working there were good and friendly.
The place looks nothing like the photos on the website - not even the entrance matches. It’s an old, rundown building tucked away in an alley that reeks of piss and vomit. Our room had nothing but a bed and a flimsy wardrobe for hanging clothes, not even a basic light fixture. Everything felt neglected and worn out. If you just need a spot to crash at night, it’ll do. But if you plan on spending any real time there, do yourself a favor and book somewhere else that's actually worth the money.
Excellent location near the central square and transportation, relatively clean. Quiet neighborhood. Friendly staff.
No lift, very narrow steep stairs to the rooms. No tv set in the room, no refrigerator, not even a table to leave our suitcases.
There are only two positive points for this hotel. Its location near one of the very central shopping streets and the wifi quality.
- There is no normal window in the room. The existing one shows the internal corridor. As a result it is impossible to get any normal oxygen.- The shower and toilet ceiling had mold all over it. It is dangerous for your lungs. There was a terrible smell in the toilet and shower: a mixture of bad sewage and mold. It was difficult to stay in the shower and toilet for more than 2 minutes.- The shower handle was broken or not fixed properly, water ran down my arm and it was impossible to shower normally.- There is no chairs in the room: impossible to sit - only on thebed.- No table in the room - impossible to work with a laptop.- No cups in the room - it is impossible even to normally wash your teeth.- The staff is different: in the afternoon there were two friendly people, but in the morning the guy who was at the reception did not even look at me when I was doing chekout, he did not even say hello.- The hotel price is surrealistic. For almost 100 euro that you pay you except a different quality. The real price of this room must be 30 euros. It is not even a one-star hotel, this is more like a homeless shelter or something of the sort. Every potential guest must know these facts before booking, most important of all: you can find way better hotels for this extortionist price that the property demands.
Location
It seems like my crypto account was hacked after using the public wifi of the hotel
Great location right in the city center. Good value for money, basic accomodation, clean and comfy. Also the waffles place in the corner to the hotel (rue du finistere) is amazing :) and the owner super nice
Good location and friendly staff. Was there for only 2 nights so for this short stay it was fine.
The room could used a deep clean since the closets were dusty. The bathroom as well even though it was clean it was superficially clean. The bathroom window could also be covered as the room i had lack of privacy and at night light when in somehow.
Good location
Double lock door is not working. Bad smell in staircase and corridor.
Good beds, comfortable sleep
No handwash, no dental kits, no bathroom sleepers. No dressing table/mirror in room. Limited wifi coverage
The room was pretty big for the price paid, very clean and heated.
The hotel is super central, located near shops and perfect for going shopping. It’s near bars, restaurants, in the historical center. Overall, the hotel was perfect for the money I paid.
Only the location was good
The most disgusting hotel I've ever been too. The bathroom was so dirty and the towel had a red stain on it. The room was smelling like bleach, horrible smell and the room was like a prison room,or maybe there it's a bit better. Not a single furniture to put stuff on or your clothes just the bed and that's all. The mattress had a whole in the middle and was higher in the head that it was so painful for the back and for the neck. Awful!!! Also no elevator and you could hear everything from outside and from inside the hotel. No sound isolation.
There was many mixed reviews about this place, so we took a risk in staying here and it turned out better than I thought. Really good location, close to a train station and walking distance from centre. Beds were comfy and clean. Kind of noisy but that’s expected with the location being close to everything.
The only thing was the bathroom wasn’t the best, the shower was dirty but you can survive here.
i liked the location of the place.
The staff that i encountered could be trained to be a bit more welcoming. The rooms definitely need renovations it was definitely not worth the money i paid.
Location, room size
Some hangers in the bathroom can help a lot
Perfect location, perfect room temperature, clean
The location is very good. You can leave your luggage before check-in if needed. Also, every day, the staff would clean the room (make the bed, change the towels, etc), which was nice.
It is really noisy - you can perfectly hear the talking from the corridor or even the noise from the lobby, which bothers when you are trying to sleep...
Good location
DirtyBasicLacking any homely featuresLike a prison cellDangerous
Location is good.
The property nit clean. Toilet is not flushing. Noisy environment including the hotel. The room so bad.
