- Hotel is not worth the money. The beds were hard as a rock, the staff was not friendly, and the shower head was broken. There's a steep flight of stairs up to the front desk. No lift at all. Very challenging with suitcases.
- flight up the stairs 2 the desk&then up more 2 room. The credit card machine was not working so I had to pay cash and I didn't have enough euros with me so I gave the desk clerk US$ which he required an additionally premium. which switched to euros later
- Noisy location, mediocre room

Location.
There is nothing Royal about this place, except the name! The hotel has no breakfast and the fridge within the room was not working. Also, the shower was broken and there was no place to hang the shower head. But even though I know problems may occur, what surprised me was the poor level of service. When I communicated about these issues the response I got from the front desk was: ‘yes I know, we communicated it to the manager and there is nothing I can do’… That was a surprise. What about fixing?

No lift, smelly room, unclean toilet, toilet amenities in a bad bad state, windows were open when i came resulting in flies in the room, microscopic bed, next door room were occasionally screaming and I couldn’t wait to sleep and get the hell out of the room
The location.
- The worst thing about this "hotel" is that you have to leave the keys to your hotel room at the front desk every time you leave the building. I've never EVER seen that "policy" in my life before and I've been in hotes all over the world. It's also dangerous and creepy as a hotel employee could easily enter your hotel room without you knowing. They might even steal your stuff.- The disgusting smell in the hotel room. It had this weird paint smell. The building is still in construction but still, at least put some air freshners or something.- There is NO ELEVATOR. If you're handicapped, elderly, don't even bother to book here.- There was no soap in the bathroom. I mean, really? How much does that cost? Very cheap "management".
Good location , convenient transportation but the hotel is unclean, smell of cigarettes , bad interior and noisy
Only that with the same money you get a bed in dormitory but in the end probably was better that this one.
It was smelling a cigar club, the sheets are not clean and the tu don't function only shower warks.
The hotel is not as shown on Booking unfortunately. The photos are from a long time ago, because the facilities are very deteriorated. The heating was very high and it was not possible to regulate it by myself, but to ask at the reception for help. The shower had a relatively fixed old textile curtain, so that shower space was lost. The toilet was also damaged and wasted water. The mattress was very soft, and the bedding did not seem to be fresh. The access to the hotel is completely on stairs and very high, and this is something that is not explained at the time of booking with Booking. The first night I felt unsafe, as there were people fighting in the corridor until late at night. I really do not recommend this hotel, even for a one night stay in Brussels.
The bed was uncomfortable, the linen was not fresh (smelling bad without having used it), the heating was not ecological, the bathroom was damaged, the shower had no way to dry the water, so the bathroom quickly became slippery, the walls were very thin which allowed to hear loud noise from other rooms, the TV had no direct cable, but platforms to connect one's account.
The guy at the reception was very friendly and efficient, the room was cheap.
The hotel is very old, no lift, dangerous tiny stairs structurally unstable. My blanquet was dirty. Only one tiny towel, no hair dryer.
Very bad
The room was not cleaned. Bathroom was too small and dirty.
The room was big and the location is perfect
The room it wasn’t clean, it was sclear no one make a brush or mop that room, there are marks on the floor, hair from others, on the bad there are hair from others, the hitting was broken the cover smells bad. I understand it is a cheap place, but is the minimum is a room clean and fresh
Location + Cheap price + Decent + Kind Staff (though look overworked). Okay to shower + sleep.
Stairs, Narrowness of spaces, Mediocre Cleanliness was just about acceptable and I wore slippers in the room. I did not feel comfortable as woman on my own, even though I travel a lot alone. Yet, I might go back with a friend for its cheapness. I was cold at night. Next morning I asked for extra blanket, which was not delivered. I was too tired to go up and down three staircases to reception to get one.
The location is very good, just minutes away from the markets and restaurants.
I don’t find it clean ?
The location was good
The room smelled like smoke and sewage really really bad like not ok bad and you could hear noise from the street all night
Bad experience
Don’t even make a mistake to lodge here.. the Pakistan receptionist is so rude and screamed at customers.. they don’t care about their customers want but only money… I repeat stay off, they see customers mistakes as their personal gain
i need two tawal they gave only one and again evening time. we ask they said we will give morning we need at night
Bad
Dirty, the wc was broken, the smell in the room was horrible, the stairs were dangerously, you couldn’t walk on them, the door from the bathroom was broken, everything was a mess.
Nothing , the place is a straight out dump , reminded me in the 70s and reminded me of a shooting gallery for junkies , the bathroom looked like it's going to walk away water leaking , the walls are dirty the sheets look like they haven't been changed for 20 years , ho no elevator, we'll I must say that the room had heat, but it was set to high so I had to sleep with the window open , so please do not book this hotel Royal is nothing Royal , I would even recommend it to the devil etc. It needs to be comdemed, health department needs to close that dump snd renew it so please stay away from this hotel ? it's straight out dump
