Pros +
- Proximity -- a short walk to the historic center of the city.
- Good location and okay room from that.
- Super charming guy on reception who really looked after me. Checked in early, upgraded the room, and the late checkout time was great.
Cons -
- The room doesn't look anything like on the pictures.
- Could not get softer pillow, as having some neck issues.
- If it wasn't for the noise, I would have rated the stay much higher.Unfortunately it was really noisy and I barely slept during our 3-night stay even though I wore earplugs. Honestly I couldn't wait to leave. The room is horribly acoustic and all the sounds are amplified, you can hear people slamming doors, stomping upstairs and arguing all night long. The bed being right next to the door didn't help. There was also some noisy construction/renovation going on in the hotel that involved drilling and hammering since early morning every day. I don't think you should rent out rooms while doing loud renovations (and charge the full price for the room). At least we should have been informed about this beforehand, because if I had known about this, I wouldn't have come. It was impossible to properly rest or work in the room.On our last day at dawn someone in the hotel was yelling obscenities on top of their lungs for almost half an hour and nobody intervened. It was a very unpleasant experience. There was also no heater in the bathroom and it gets quite cold in January.

Great location and good service but a little bit expensive
The Hotel was very clean, the view from the window was excellent and the beds very comfortable. The Hotel staff are very friendly and helpful I have been there twice and will go back there for sure on my next trip to Brussels.
The location of the hotel is great - very close to the Old Town and main tourist attractions, and right next to a subway station. It's also located within walking distance from the Brussels-Midi railway station. There are many shops and restaurants nearby. The staff were very kind and helpful. The room was cleaned daily. It was spacious and the bedding and towels were clean and looked new. There was no electric kettle in the room, but you can make tea or coffee in the dining room downstairs.

I liked the location and good staff, Adel and his colleagues were really nice!
The rooms are a bit small, but tolerable.
Very good location and value for money.
Our room was on the fourth floor without elevator. The room was extremely hot without air co. We had to keep the window open, but unfortunately there was quite some noise from the street. The curtains were kind of dorty and worn out. The shower was such that when having a shower a lot of water would fall on the floor and flood the bathroom.
The staff was very nice, everything was very clean and the room has a heater that works properly. The bathroom and shower is clean and everything works well. The location was pretty good too.
It would be nice to have a kettle in the room and electric sockets could be closer to the beds. One of the sockets was in a very high spot almost unreachable. The pillows were a bit uncomfortable.
Hotel is in a good location. Used the parking which is very convenient. Room was clean and comfortable with enough room for our party of three. Friendly and helpful staff. Street noise is an issue at night. Appears like it might be quiet, but people were outside talking and doing stuff every night. It is the city, so noise is expected, I guess.
The hotel is about 10 minutes walk from Grande Place. There is a metro-station just aside. We booked a double room. It is ok for a couple that needs just a room for sleeping. Warm room. Comfortable bed. The staff were kind and helpful.
A bit dangerous neighborhood. The room was a bit cramped, nearly lacking space when you have 2 big luggage. Also, the bathroom was tiny and was nearly impossible not to spray water allover when showering. No closets available as it was known from the photos. A bit expensive for what is offering, but the period we booked is costly anyway.
The hotel was in the city. So it was very convenient. Also we could park our car out side the hotel. It was Christmas day and parking was free. The receptionist was kind to tell that to us. Also they were friendly.
When we first get inside we didn't feel it is safe as the staircases and the corridors are very tight and not so clean. Of course it was a very old building with an elevator. And when we go inside the room we could hear everything outside, even the alarm of the next room person. We basically could not sleep the whole night and out 4 year old daughter was awake because of the noise. When we open the curtain, we saw that the next room people are changing their clothes, so we kept the curtain close all the time.It was very annoying that the walls were very thin. And you can see the light out side from under the door. The bed was also not comfortable, And inside the room, you feel something is missing, I don't know what it is. I will not recommend this place to a family with kids and who prefer silent sleeps.
The hotel is very centrally located, close to a metro station and within a short walking distance of Grand Place. The staff were exceptionally welcoming, friendly, and helpful, which made the stay even more enjoyable. A special thank you to Andriy/Andrew, who truly enhanced our weekend with thoughtful tips and recommendations on what to see and do during a rainy Brussels stay, his suggestions even reshaped our plans for the better. Optional breakfast and coffee are available, and there is a great selection of restaurants, bars, and a couple of markets nearby. The room was also pleasantly warm, which was much appreciated during the cold and rainy winter season.
The lack of carpet in the room felt a bit unusual, as the tiled flooring gave it a somewhat clinical feel. A few small additional touches, such as glasses in the room, would make the stay even more comfortable.
It was clean and convenient to get into town.
The smell. There was a constant smell of scents in the hotel which was really off putting. There was even a scent dispenser in the bedroom. It was awful. The bathroom is really dated and it smelled of sewer.
Bad
We had a room in the fourth floor with out left and we had 5 kids that was very bad and wasn’t safe at all and when l booked wasn’t describe we was very disappointed and was very expensive for that experience
The accessibility to the hotel was easy, just 3 tram tram rides from Brussels midi station, so many middle eastern restaurants around the hotel which are clean and healthy.. The staff is awesome, friendly and supportive .. clean bed linen, good heating, clean … i cant complain about anything, i came for two nights and extended it to another after coming there!
I came at the end of the year so obviously the prices are high for the higher demand..
We were looking for emergency accommodation due to a Eurostar cancellation and for that it served very well. The staff were excellent and the location good, being halfway between the Eurostar terminal and Grand Place.
The room was a bit cramped with four single beds and little wardrobe provision - fine for a night or two but would be limited for a longer stay. There were no tea/coffee facilities in the room; there were drinks machines downstairs but we didn’t use them.
The central location allows relatively easy access to the main tourist attractions, such as the Grand Place, which can be reached on foot during the day.
From the moment you enter the elevator, there is a strong smell of damp and humidity throughout the hotel. The bathrooms are clearly infested with mold, and there is visible mold behind the beds as well. This raises serious concerns about hygiene and health standards. In addition, the check-in experience was unpleasant due to the attitude of a receptionist (an older gentleman). His communication was rude and unhelpful, which is unacceptable in hospitality. While another younger receptionists was polite, the older staff member’s behavior negatively impacted our first impression and the overall experience. For the price paid, this hotel offers very poor value for money. The same budget easily allows accommodation in hotels such as NH or Ibis, which provide infinitely better conditions, cleanliness, and comfort.Although the location is relatively central, the hotel is situated on the edge of socially problematic neighborhoods. As a result, walking around the hotel area at night is not recommended, which significantly impacts the overall feeling of safety and comfort during the stay.
