Alma Grand Place Hotel

The location was great and it is within walking distance from all the major attractions. We arrived in Brussels during the time of lockdown and Hotel Alma reached out and followed up with our upcoming stay.

It was fine, elevators was incredibly tiny

Blow dryer overheated too quickly!

Great location, fabulous room, and super helpful staff!

Fantastic location just a stone's throw from the Grand Place. Great breakfast and staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was a good size and had everything we needed for our stay.

The bathroom was a little basic and could do with a bit of a refresh. The walls were also a tad thin so could hear other guests coming and going at times.

Fantastic location, near to the Grand Place. Very clean and tidy, nice breakfast and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Excellent location, right in the centre of everything. It made the city easily walkable which is the best way to explore. The hotel staff at reception gave some excellent recommendations for food and travel to Bruges/Gent. Being able to leave bags safe in the hotel after check was also very helpful.

Fabulous hotel in a beautiful location near all the main sights. Loved the view from our room over the rooftops towards the Town Hall. Room was spacious with a big comfy bed and robe and slippers. Breakfast was much better than we expected with a wide variety of foods which were regularly topped up. All the staff were welcoming and helpful. A special mention to Suzanne for helping us with our taxi back to the station. Hope to return some time in the future.

The location could not have been better. We were 5 minutes walk from Brussels Centraal station making it easy for us to arrive and depart. The hotel was within walking distance of many of the main attractions, including the Grand Place, Manneken Pis, the cathedral and many museums, shops and restaurants. We had a premier king room which was bigger than we expected. Our bed was massive and everything spotlessly clean. Pablo checked us in and out and was incredibly helpful and friendly - thank you! We'd highly recommend this hotel.

Our room was right above the front door and facing onto the street, and on Friday and Saturday night, you could hear people quite clearly outside - obviously not much the hotel can do about this!

Everything was amazing

We walked from the Eurostar terminal at Brussels midi to the hotel which is about 1.5 miles. When we returned we had a taxi and the cost was a modest 8 euros. The hotel was situated in the heart of the old city and could not be better placed for exploring the city and for bars and restaurants.The reception staff were very pleasant and helpful.

We did not find anything which we did not like.

We were warmly welcomed by Alejandra at check-in, and she was incredibly helpful throughout. She thoughtfully arranged a room that suited us perfectly and even shared a list of her recommended restaurants. Thanks to her suggestion, we enjoyed one of the best meals of our trip. Her hospitality really made our stay even more memorable.

Excellent location, friendly staff and comfy rooms.

Overall a good stay but some things I would like to mention and I think are reasonable to expect at a hotel within this price range: no conditioner in the shower, lamps in the rooms have a strange flickering option that is hard to switch off, no fridge in the room, breakfast options and coffee not of great quality.

bathroom was down a wobbly spiral staircase which was bit precarious in the night or after a few drinks. Could do with a paint too!

Bathroom wasn’t very clean.

Great location, close to The Grand Plas and the central station. We were able to easily explore central Brussels on foot and have a day trip to Ghent. Hotel was clean, with friendly staff and all we needed. We also enjoyed a lovely view across the rooftops to the Grand Plas and further.

Not a big room but all we needed.

The room was very comfortable and clean. We asked for and got a quiet room on a high floor in the back. The location was perfect and the staff were all very competent and friendly.

Easy response: the sink in the bathroom is too broad and shallow. The faucet tended to spray up onto the counter.
