    Pros +

    • Amazing location and friendly staff! We really appreciated the umbrellas available for borrowing, since the wheater was cloudy and the rain came randomly during the day. The bed was big and very comfy, and the tea and coffee left in the room were a bonus (also the fridge, even tho we didn't use it).
    • I liked the location, staff was pleasant
    • Very good value for money, central location, friendly staff, very comfortable bed.

    Cons -

    • The smell from the bathroom was quite bad :( It smelled like sewage no matter how long we aired the bathroom. It was fine for two nights, that's why we didn't even bother to mention it to the staff. For a longer stay tho, it's something that needs to be solved.
    • Lots of black mold in a room
    • The lift is small, can barely hold 3 persons in all.

Great location, nice breakfast, comfy bed. Close to a metro stop.

It was January, the bathroom was cold.

Very good location and easily accessible by public transport. Comfy bed.

Very Small lift (one person at a time) not suitable for wheel chair, Breakfast option is very minimal. Shower area is small.

VERY kind and helpful staff at the reception! The location is very good: close enough to the busy high street, but still very quiet.

The room was a bit small, but the main problem was the lack of electrical sockets in the room. The is practically only one, which I had to use for my computer/phone/water cooker.

Well located, friendly staff, nice perks like coffee machine in the reception

Don’t stay in a room next to the elevator. It may feel like you’re near a construction site.

I loved that the hotel was located within a walking distance from the European Commission. That made my stay very easy. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly and went an extra mile when I had a special request. The breakfast was really very nice, especially given the price. A comfy 3* stay in the center of everything.

The room is really small. But the bed was comfortable and nothing essential was missing!

Clean compact close to the train. Friendly staff and good breakfast

Convenient location in the city, public parking nearby, many restaurant opportunities nearby. Breakfast Ok as for business trip for a reasonable price.

Small room, loud corridor and door alarms, few electrical sockets. Price for second night 3x the price of the first one was unclear at booking

    7MarianPosted on: 11-15-2025

    Close to center

I was disappointed with the room conditions. The A/C looked rotten with dark spots, which didn’t feel hygienic, and the room was uncomfortably cold. I expected better maintenance from a hotel of this category.

There was black mold on the ceiling of the bathroom. The sound of people next door would come through so easily, specially from the bathroom.Too many stairs. One tacky, old and small elevator which you still had to take several stairs to get to.Awful.

    5SamanthaPosted on: 10-31-2025

It was very close to the city centre

It was not particularly clean, but the biggest problem was the broken door lock, we couldn’t use our electronic key card so the receptionist first idea was to just make sure we always leave someone in the room. When they eventually agreed that would not work they gave us the master key to use for the room with the understanding we would hand it back in when we left the hotel, not a problem until we realised that if you asked for the key they would just have it over, not even asking for a name on the room, and every time a different receptionist, therefore they did not know who we were

    Very nice and welcoming staff

Hotel is old, rooms with single bed for £100

Horrible customer service… took my money and didn’t accept for me to stay. Promised to call back at least 4 times, didn’t call back. I’m going to contact my bank to deal with this. Very very disappointing, very unprofessional

    The breakfast was very tasty.

The interior is old, very used. The bathroom was clean, but the room needed a good clean. Very high price for the offered quality.

    6ArūnasPosted on: 10-13-2025

    Pleasant

Small and dark rooms. Rooms looks better in the pictures then in reality. Needs renovation. The price is too big what you get.

    3MoiraPosted on: 9-24-2025

Location was fine for where I was working

So many things were poor. It was shabby, the curtains in my room were dirty, the TV did not work, the shower was little more than a trickle. There was also a school trip staying at the hotel, many young girls running up and down the corridor, shouting, screaming and banging doors. I was on a TEAMS call in my room and my colleagues heard the noise. I wanted to leave but was refused a refund even though this was not an acceptable standard. It is not a hotel for use by a business traveller. It is aimed at school trips and back-packets even though I paid ,294 euros. It's not even worth 100 euros, don't go there. If you are on business go to the excellent Moxy in same area and price range

    Not much.

Bath room and shower small no lights.
